Lancashire chased down a revised target of 125 with 28 balls to spare to record a seven-wicket win over Scotland in their rain-hit Yorkshire Bank 40 clash in Glasgow.
Scotland had been bowled out for 145 with two balls left of their scheduled 36 overs before bad weather hampered the start of the Red Rose county's reply.
They lost opener Scott Moore soon after the resumption for 18 but Tom Smith and Ashwell Prince combined to add 58 for the second wicket.
Prince hit four fours and a six as he eased his way to 36 before being dismissed by Majid Haq, while Simon Katich contributed only seven.
However Smith saw the job through to the end, finishing up unbeaten on 42 from 63 deliveries. Karl Brown made a run-a-ball 13 not out.
Scotland had earlier seen just four of their batsmen reach double figures, including last man Calvin Burnett making 25 from just 17 balls.
All-rounder Smith showed his value with the ball by claiming two wickets, including dismissing Richie Berrington for a top score of 35.
Preston Mommsen weighed in with an undefeated 31, having watched from the other end as the hosts slipped from 84-3 to 100-7, their cause not helped by two run outs.
