Over 6.4 - Aus 81/5 (Hodge 21, Haddin 4)
Parnell to bowl the last over, Australia need 15 runs. A couple of singles from the first two balls, Hodge comes back on strike. Six, Hodge hits it cleanly over deep midwicket for a six. Full toss from Parnell and Hodge hits it over midwicket for another six. A wide from Parnell and it is all over. Australia win, Hodge takes them over the line with two balls to spare.
Over 6 - Aus 66/5 (Hodge 8, Haddin 4)
Hendricks comes back into the attack, a no ball to start and Hodge hits it for four over point. Free hit time, and then Hendricks bowls a wide. WICKET! A run out, Bailey is run out while taking the second run, Miller fires in the throw and De Kock does the rest. Haddin comes out to bat. A couple of singles and then Haddin takes a couple of runs over midwicket. A couple of runs to end the over, Australia need 15 runs to win from the last over.
Over 5 - Aus 53/4 (Hodge 1, Bailey 2)
WICKET! Duminy takes the big wicket, Warner tries to reverse sweep and is out lbw and Australia lose their third wicket. Bailey comes out to bat, takes a single to get off the mark. A wide from Duminy and then a couple of singles. WICKET! Two wickets in one over from Duminy. Maxwell drives it hard and Faf takes a good catch at point. A single to end the over, five runs and two wickets from the over.
Over 4 - Aus 48/2 (Maxwell 0, Warner 40)
Parnell comes into the attack, a couple of singles to start the over. WICKET! It is a length ball, Watson pulls it to deep square leg, Abbott takes the catch. Maxwell comes out to bat. A single to end the over, another good over from South Africa.
Over 3 - Aus 44/1 (Watson 1, Warner 38)
Hendricks comes into the attack, a couple of singles to start the over, Watson gets off the mark. A length ball from Hendricks and Warner smashes this over deep midwicket for a six. Four, Warner attacks again and the outside edge flies through third man for four. Four more and Warner ends the over with a couple of runs. After 3 overs, Australia 44 for 1.
Over 2 - Aus 26/1 (Watson 0, Warner 21)
Abbott to bowl from the other end. A couple of dots and then WICKET! Finch tries to chip it over the leg side, but hits it to midwicket and Amla takes a good catch. Watson comes out to bat. Warner bashes it the ball outside off through cover for four. A single to end the over, good start by Abbott.
Over 1 - Aus 21/0 (Finch 5, Warner 16)
Tsotsobe will start for South Africa, Finch and Warner open the innings for Australia. Finch smashes the first ball straight down the ground for four, hit powerfully through mid-off. A single brings Warner on strike. Warner gets off the mark with a boundary too, pulls it over fine leg. Then Warner takes a couple of runs through midwicket. Too straight from Tsotsobe, Warner rocks on to his back foot and hits it over deep square leg for a six. Four, Warner hits the last ball through deep cover for four, brilliant start by Australia.
Over 7 - SA 80/1 (du Plessis 27, de Kock 41)
Last over of the innings already, Faf takes a single to give the strike to De Kock. A leg bye, Starc bowls a yorker and De Kock can't dig it out. Another single and then De Kock hits a six, hits it into the sight screen. Another six, that spoils the over from Starc, De Kock hits it over the deep square leg fielder who has no chance of stopping this. They are replacing the ball, that six damaged the ball. Five wides, these are bonus runs, Starc tries to bowl a yorker but it goes down leg for five wides. A single to end the over, De Kock looks to smash that but miss it. SA end on 80 for 1.
Over 6 - SA 59/1 (du Plessis 25, de Kock 29)
Coulter-Nile brought back into the attack and De Kock hits the first ball for four. De Kock chips it over midwicket for four. A single to deep cover brings Faf on strike. The bowler bowls it on the stumps, Faf gets an inside edge and it beats the keeper and races away to the fine leg boundary. Another single and then De Kock hits the last ball of the over for a six, it is a low full toss and he hits it over long-on for a six.
Over 5 - SA 43/1 (du Plessis 20, de Kock 18)
Daniel Christian starts his first over. Faf hits it over the bowler's head for four, straight down the ground. Six, Faf walks down the ground and hits the half volley over long-on for a six, good connection. Six more, Christian bowls a length ball and Faf climbs into it, hits it over deep square leg for a six. A couple of runs to end the over, another good over for SA.
Over 4 - SA 25/1 (du Plessis 2, de Kock 18)
Watson comes into the attack, De Kock hits the first ball over mid-off for four. Six, 10 runs in 2 balls, De Kock hits the ball out of the ground and into the sight screen for a six. A couple of singles and then De Kock takes a couple more to end the over, good over for SA.
Over 3 - SA 11/1 (du Plessis 1, de Kock 5)
A couple of runs to De Kock, he pulls it to long-on and the bat slips out of De Kock's hand has he takes the second run. Another pull towards long-on and De Kock gets a single. A couple more singles to end the over. SA 11 for 1 after 3 overs.
Over 2 - SA 6/1 (du Plessis 0, de Kock 1)
Coulter-Nile runs in from the other end, De Kock takes a single to deep square leg to get off the mark. WICKET! Amla fails to connect a couple of balls and then hits one straight back to the bowler, Coulter-Nile takes a good catch. Faf comes out to bat.
Over 1 - SA 5/0 (Amla 4, de Kock 0)
Starc starts with the new ball for Australia, Amla and De Kock open the batting. A half volley from Starc, Amla pushes forward and hits it through cover for four. A wide outside off from Starc. Five from the first over.
Beuran Hendricks will be playing for South Africa today, Faf said he is concerned about injuries ahead of the T20 World Cup.
Australia have won the toss and elected to bowl first. It will be a 7-over-a-side game because of rain delay and there are a lot of sawdust patches around the ground.
It has stopped raining and the covers are off. 8:40pm is the cut-off, to get a five-over game. The umpires will inspect soon.
It is still raining but there is a chance it could clear up later. The cut off time is 8:40pm (local time).
As the umpires walk out for an inspection, the rain returns. This will lengthen the delay and postpone the inspection.
There will be a pitch inspection in five minutes, the covers are off and toss will follow soon afterwards.
