Over 5 - SL 40/1 (Dilshan 12, Jayawardene 11)
A few dots and Mahela then hits it through the fine leg boundary, good shot from him. Dropped, Bukhari at mid-on drops a straight forward catch. Four, and no ball from Van der Gugten, Mahela top edges it and it goes to the third man boundary for four. A single and that ends the match, Sri Lanka post the biggest win in terms of balls to spare in T20s.

A couple of singles and Mahela gets off the mark. four singles from the over. Sri Lanka need 10 more to win.
Over 3 - SL 26/1 (Dilshan 10, Jayawardene 0)
Mahela walks out to bat, and Van der Gugten bowls a wide. Three dots and then Dilshan hits it through extra cover for four. A single to end the over.
Over 2 - SL 20/1 (Dilshan 5)
Four, Dilshan starts with a boundary through the cover region as Jamil starts the second over of the innings. A couple of singles and then Kusal hits the ball over square leg for a six. The next ball goes to midwicket for a couple of runs and Sri Lanka are halfway there with 20 runs on the board. WICKET! This one stops on Kusal who hits it straight to mid-on and Swart takes the catch. Sri Lanka lose their first wicket.
Over 1 - SL 6/0 (K Perera 6, Dilshan 0)
Brilliant fielding by Myburgh, and four, Perera hits the fourth ball for four, he hits it through midwicket for four. A couple of runs as Kusal Perera hits it through midwicket again.
Netherlands 39 all out
Netherlands are all out for 39 and this is the lowest total in T20s. Sri Lanka will need only 40 runs to win after a clinical bowling performance. Mathews and Mendis took three wickets each and Malinga took two, Sri Lanka will look to up their net run rate.
Over 10.3 - Neth 39/10 (van der Gugten 0)
WICKET! Mendis bowls it slower and gets some spin, Seelaar edges it and is caught at slip. Seelaar goes out and Jamil walks out to bat. WICKET! This is the lowest total in T20s. Jamil misses the wrong'un and is out lbw, he can't read the ball. Mendis spins his magic, taking 3 wickets for 12 runs. Sri Lanka need 40 to win.
Over 10 - Neth 39/8 (Seelaar 3)
The start of the 10th over, WICKET! a dot ball, then a single and then Malinga bowls van Beek. Van Beek misses the slower yorker completely, and the ball goes between bat and pad and he is bowled. Seelaar starts with a couple of runs on the leg side and then takes a single. WICKET! Malinga takes two wickets in the over, Bukhari misses another slower yorker and is bowled. Netherlands are on course for making the lowest total (previous 56) in T20 cricket.
Over 9 - Neth 35/6 (van Beek 1, Bukhari 3)
Mendis starts his second over, four leg byes to start the over, WICKET! Tom Cooper is out, big wicket for Sri Lanka. Tom does not connect this, he is out lbw with the ball hitting him in front of the stumps. The umpire agrees and Netherlands lose their 6th. A couple of singles as Van Beek comes out to bat. Six runs from the over and a wicket.
Over 8 - Neth 29/5 (T Cooper 16, Bukhari 2)
Four singles from the over, Bukhari is the new man in. Netherlands are going at 3.6 runs per over.
Over 7 - Neth 25/5 (T Cooper 14, Bukhari 0)
Mendis into the attack now, Tom Cooper takes a single by pushing it to long-on. Ben goes for the drive, only to outside edge it to third man for three runs. Four, it is tossed up and Tom drives it through the covers for four, good shot from a talented cricketer. WICKET! Ben dances down the wicket and slams it to long-off. Netherlands lose half their side for 25 runs.
Over 6 - Neth 15/4 (T Cooper 8, B Cooper 4)
A wide slip for Mathews, three dots to start the over. Four, Ben Cooper gets off the mark with a four through midwicket, Ben flicks it over the leg side for four. Just the boundary from the over.
Over 5 - Neth 11/4 (T Cooper 8, B Cooper 0)
Malinga comes into the attack, Chandimal goes for the kill as Ben Cooper walks out to bat. A couple of singles from the over, Malinga finishes his first over.
Over 4 - Neth 9/4 (T Cooper 7)
Mathews starts his second over, Tom Cooper and Borren at the crease. Four, slower ball and Tom Cooper hits it through point for the first boundary. Cooper then hits it through the leg side for a couple of runs, a single then brings Borren on strike. WICKET! Borren falls, trapped in front of the stumps to the inswinger, Netherlands in trouble at 9 for 4.

Kulasekara comes in to bowl his second over, just a leg bye from the over. Sri Lanka on top after just two overs.
Over 2 - Neth 1/3 (T Cooper 0, Borren 0)
Mathews runs in to bowl the second over, a couple of dots to start the over. WICKET! Sanga takes the catch behind the stumps and Swart edges it and the Dutch lose their second over. WICKET! Mathews on a hat-trick, Barresi comes and going, Chandimal takes the catch at cover, Barresi goes for 1, the Dutch are 1 run for 3 wickets now. The floodlights have malfunctioned, and it has started raining. We are back, it was just a minor delay.
