Dilshan finishes it in style, SL need 6 runs and Dilshan hits a six. Sri Lanka win by 6 wickets to avoid a whitewash.
Over 18 SL 158/4 (Dilshan 68, T Perera 25)
Parnell brought back into the attack, du Plessis getting his field right. Perera tries to scoop it over leg but misses. It is in the slot and Perera swipes it over mid off for four. Six, Perera swings, connects and gets this over long on for a six. Another four, Perera reaches for it outside off and sends it for four through the covers, brings up Sri Lanka's 150. Perera takes it away from South Africa, hits it over the point fielder for four, not convincing but effective. A wide for height, Parnell bowls a bouncer under pressure. Drilled straight down the ground for a couple to end the over. SL need 6 from the last two overs.
Over 17 SL 137/4 (Dilshan 68, T Perera 5)
Morkel comes back into the attack. Thisara takes a single to bring Dilshan back on strike. Perera pushes it to deep square leg for a single, then Dilshan walks across his stumps and gets a boundary to deep square leg, Sri Lanka need 31 from 20 balls now. Three runs to Dilshan who pulls it over the in field to long on, they run hard for three. A single to end the over. SL need 27 from 18 balls.
Over 16 SL 126/4 (Dilshan 60, T Perera 2)
Five overs to go, Sri Lanka need 46 to win. Wiese starts his final over for the day. Mathews drives it square of the wicket for four, a welcome boundary at this stage for Sri Lanka. WICKET! Mathews inside edges it on to the pads and it hits the stumps and Mathews is bowled. A crucial time to lose a wicket. Thisara Perera is the new batsman. Thisara starts with a single down to long off. A yorker from Wiese and angled to square leg for a single. Some good fielding keeps it down to a single, Sri Lanka need 38 from 24 balls.

Tahir continues, a single to start the over and then a leg bye. Four from the over, 118 for 3.
Over 14 SL 114/3 (Dilshan 58, Mathews 7)
Tsotsobe brought back into the attack. Dilshan reverse scoops it for four, what a shot, goes for the reverse sweep, then just lifts it to make a scoop. A couple of singles to follow. A scoop goes wrong and Dilshan gets a single anyway. Four, Mathews flicks it off his hip for four wide of fine leg. Tsotsobe's poor day continues. 12 runs from the over.
Over 13 SL 102/3 (Dilshan 52, Mathews 1)
Tahir continues, pushed away for a single by Chandimal. Dilshan under edges it for a single to square leg, the 100 comes up for Sri Lanka. WICKET! Chandimal comes down the wicket and misses, good stumping by de Kock, quick and accurate. The pressure creates a wicket and Mathews walks out to bat. Four runs and the wicket from the over.
Over 12 SL 98/2 (Dilshan 50, Chandimal 13)
Wiese continues, starts with a leg cutter. Dilshan drives the ball to midwicket and gets a single to get to his 50. Chandimal edges it past the vacant slip area for four, poor shot but four runs nonetheless. Good come back from Wiese, who bowls a slower ball. Dropped, Wiese is disappointed as Tsotsobe drops another catch. Poor fielding from Tsotsobe. A dot to end the over, 98 for 2 after 12.
Over 11 SL 92/2 (Dilshan 49, Chandimal 8)
Sri Lanka need 74 from 60 balls. Morkel back into the attack. Chandimal takes a single to long on. A good over from Morkel, just two runs from it. Sri Lanka are 92 for 2 after 11 overs.
Over 10 SL 90/2 (Dilshan 48, Chandimal 7)
Chandimal pulls to deep square for a single. Dilshan angles it down to fine leg for a single. Single for Chandimal to Miller on long off. Good over from Wiese, just three runs from it.
Over 9 SL 87/2 (Dilshan 47, Chandimal 5)
Chandimal starts with a single, then Dilshan pulls it for four through midwicket. A couple of singles after the boundary, SL keep the scoreboard ticking. Another single down to long off, the required rate under 7. Good over for SL, 9 runs from it.
Over 8 SL 78/2 (Dilshan 41, Chandimal 2)
WICKET! Another wicket for SA, Wiese picks up Perera, who hits it against the wind, in the air and finds Parnell square on the off side. Chandimal pulls but only gets a single to Parnell at deep square leg. Tsotsobe lets another one go through, Dilshan ends the over with a boundary.

Tahir comes into the attack after the power play. Dilshan gets a couple of runs to the sweeper on the off side. Just four from the over, a good start for Tahir.
Over 6 SL 67/1 (Dilshan 33, K Perera 0)
Dilshan drives it straight down the ground and Faf stops it again. Mahela gives himself room and hits it over point for four, another great shot from Mahela, making the most of these power play overs. WICKET! Mahela mishits it to AB who takes a simple catch and Mahela is out for 33. Kusal Perera comes to the crease. End of the power play SL 67 for 1.
Over 5 SL 62/0 (Dilshan 32, Jayawardene 29)
Tsotsobe starts with a no ball, so it is free hit time. No run from the free hit as Dilshan hits it straight to the fielder. Four and four, two consecutive boundaries, Dilshan on fire. Both over midwicket, Tsotsobe straying in his length. A quick single to follow the boundaries. Mahela comes down the wicket and upper cuts it over the keeper for another boundary. SL 62 for no loss after 5 overs.
Over 4 SL 47/0 (Dilshan 23, Jayawardene 24)
Parnell brought into the attack and Mahela drives it for four through covers. A drop and run single for Mahela after the four. Another single for Dilshan, brings Mahela back on strike. Mahela lifts this over the off side for four, made it look so easy, just gave himself room and hit it over extra cover. Mahela drives again but it will be a single to deep cover. After 4 overs SL 47 for no wicket.
Over 3 SL 36/0 (Dilshan 22, Jayawardene 14)
Tsotsobe continues, Dilshan on strike and a dot ball to start. Dilshan rocks back and drives it through the covers for four, it is raining boundaries in Hambantota. Driven by Dilshan again, Faf makes a great stop at mid off. A couple of runs to Dilshan who pulls it to deep square leg. Pulled to deep square leg again for a couple of runs, 8 runs from the over.
Over 2 SL 28/0 (Dilshan 14, Jayawardene 14)
Mahela gets off with a boundary, Sri Lanka start in style. Mahela flicks it off his pads for four on the leg side. Mahela cuts past backward point for four, another boundary to add to the count. Another boundary, Mahela flicks it past short fine leg for four, all runs coming in boundaries so far. Mahela drives, and the fielder at cover makes a good stop, they run two. Great start by Sri Lanka, 28 for no loss after 2 overs.
Over 1 SL 14/0 (Dilshan 14, Jayawardene 0)
Dilshan and Mahela to open for SA, Dilshan on strike against Tsotsobe. Dilshan drives and Faf stops the single at mid off, great stop. A play and a miss by Dilshan. Another drive from Dilshan and stopped at mid on for no run. Dilshan swivels and hits it over deep square leg for six, great pull shot and great way to get off the mark. Dilshan then plays the scoop and gets a one bounce four behind the keeper, it is called a Dil-scoop for a reason. Dilshan scoops again and it is four more runs. 14 from the first over.
Over 20 SA 163/3 (de Villiers 1, Duminy 51)
Last over, and Lakmal will bowl it. Faf tries to play it to fine leg, but gets a top edge to get it to third man for a single. Duminy gets a single to third man, Mahela on the boundary does well. WICKET! Faf is bowled, the yorker does the trick for Lakmal. Duminy gets his 50 with a boundary. The last ball of the innings and Duminy drives it straight down the ground for a single. SA finish with 163 for 3 after 20 overs.
Over 19 SA 155/2 (du Plessis 84, Duminy 45)
Kulasekara to bowl the second last over. Duminy gets a single to start the over. Faf tries to run it down the third man, after trying to run it down the fine leg, does not improvise well. Another swings and a miss from Faf, a slower one from Kulasekara. Four, Faf drives it straight for four down the ground, the bowler can't stop it. Thisara Perera runs in to catch it, then it bounces awkwardly in front of him and goes past him for four. Faf takes a single to end the over.
Over 18 SA 145/2 (du Plessis 75, Duminy 44)
Faf drives it for a quick single to mid off, well run in the end. Mendis is brought back into the attack to bowl his final over. Another single, this time a wide from Mendis down leg. Another wide, Faf leaves it calmly again. A full toss driven to deep cover for a single. Duminy gets it past short fine leg and they run two, good running again. Duminy drives it through the leg side, kept down to a single by Senanayake in the deep. Four, Perera misfields in the deep and Faf gets another boundary.
Over 17 SA 133/2 (du Plessis 69, Duminy 41)
Kulasekara comes on to bowl the 17th over. Duminy drives it to deep midwicket for a single. Faf improvises and plays an awkward scoop that goes to third man, instead of fine leg, and it is a single in the end. A yorker from Kulasekara and Duminy digs it out to square leg for a single. Faf launches it through the covers for four, great shot from the captain. Another single for Faf to third man, gets an outside edge and this is his highest score in T20s. Duminy gets a full toss and swings, pulls it over midwicket and out of the ground for a big six. 133 for 2 after 17 overs.
Over 16 SA 119/2 (du Plessis 65, Duminy 33)
Senanayake continues, and Duminy gets a single from the first ball. A couple of runs, was risky in the beginning but well run in the end. After 16 overs SA are 119 for 2. Senanayake finishes his quota of overs for the day.
Over 15 SA 112/2 (du Plessis 60, Duminy 29)
Lakmal brought back into the attack. Faf edges it to deep square leg for a single. Six, Duminy this time, just clears his front leg and swings Lakmal over long on for a six. Then he pulls to deep square leg for a single. 9 runs from the over, 5 overs remaining.
Over 14 SA 103/2 (du Plessis 59, Duminy 21)
Senanayake starts his 3rd over and Faf works him for a single. Another single brings Faf on strike. A wide down leg, Faf leaves it calmly. A good over from Senanayake, just three from it.
Over 13 SA 100/2 (du Plessis 58, Duminy 20)
Dropped! Faf walks away from his stumps and pulls it to deep midwicket and Thirimanne drops Faf, that was a big chance. Faf drives through the covers for a single. It was going to be a good over, but Duminy sweeps it to the fine leg boundary for four, making it 8 runs from the over. After 13 overs, SA 100 for 2.
Over 12 SA 92/2 (du Plessis 56, Duminy 14)
Faf comes down the pitch and hits it down the ground for four, Dilshan the bowler. Then Faf drives and takes a single to long on. Six, another six, Faf peppering the straight boundary again. Big six to end the over.
Over 11 SA 79/2 (du Plessis 45, Duminy 12)
Mendis comes back into the attack, Duminy comes down the wicket and gets a single on the leg side. Three singles from the over and then Faf drives it straight down the ground for four. It went past the bowler, but he did not have a chance to stop that. Another good over for SA, 79 for 2 after 11.
Over 10 SA 72/2 (du Plessis 40, Duminy 10)
Dilshan will bowl the 10th over. Good running from this pair, two runs to Duminy who just pushes it into the leg side and runs hard. Another shot in the same area and Duminy gets four for it, there were two fielders there but the timing was really good and the ball goes for four.
Over 9 SA 64/2 (du Plessis 39, Duminy 3)
Mathews into the attack. Faf starts the over with a six, clean strike over midwicket. The slower ball from Mathews dispatched by Faf. A single down the ground, brings Duminy on strike against Mathews. Duminy tries to flick it off his pads, but only gets some pad on it for a leg bye. Faf swings and connects, another six. This time he goes straight down the ground and over, another strong shot from Faf. Big over for SA, 15 runs from it.
Over 8 SA 49/2 (du Plessis 25, Duminy 3)
de Kock wants a quick single to short fine leg, but is rightly sent back. Mendis gets the breakthrough! WICKET! Mendis bowls the quicker one and de Kock trapped in front of his stumps, and is out lbw. An easy decision for the umpire, JP Duminy walks out to join Faf. Duminy gets off the mark with a single down the ground. Faf fails to scoop it, gets a glove on it so can't be given lbw. A big shout from the bowler, but a good decision from the umpire. A couple of runs to end the over, SA 49 for 2 after 8 overs.
Over 7 SA 45/1 (du Plessis 24, de Kock 16)
Perera to Faf and Faf is hit in the box, the is down on the ground and getting some help from the physio. After a short break, Faf decides to keep playing and rotates strike with a single. de Kock gets a single to the sweeper on the off side, came down the wicket again and cut it square. Faf gets inside the line of the ball and flicks it to the deep square leg boundary for four. Faf gets another thick edge and it runs to the third man boundary for four.
Over 6 SA 35/1 (du Plessis 15, de Kock 15)
Last over of the power play and Faf works Senanayake down the ground for a couple of runs. A shout for lbw but de Kock is safe. Good over from Senanayake, SA 35 for 1 after 6 overs.
Over 5 SA 30/1 (du Plessis 11, de Kock 14)
Faf drives it wide of mid off for a single, another solid shot from him. de Kock plays a few dots and then tries to come down the wicket, but Lakmal bowls a bouncer and it is called wide for height. de Kock is frustrated after a few dots, but finds the gap through the covers and it goes for four. Then de Kock smashes it down the ground for another boundary, confident shots to end the over.

Senanayake who bowled so well in the last T20, comes into the attack. Faf just steps out of his crease and flicks it with soft hands through the covers for four. Solid cover drive by the captain.
Over 3 SA 15/1 (du Plessis 5, de Kock 6)
A wide to start from Kulasekara. Faf is beaten by the ball that keeps low. de Kock hits it to long off but there is a fielder there. Faf needs a big score today, his average has not been good in this series. de Kock walks down the pitch and cuts it through point and cover for four to end the over.

Suranga Lakmal to start from the other end. Good stop at backward point by Senanayake.de Kock slices it over the off side for a single. Two runs from the over.
Over 1 SA 7/1 (du Plessis 4, de Kock 0)
WICKET! First ball and gone! Kulasekara swings it in to Davids and is caught in front of his pads and is out lbw. What a start! Faf edges it and it goes between the slip and keeper for four. Faf angle it down the fine leg for three runs. After one over, SA are 7 for 1.
South Africa remain unchanged, Sri Lanka leave out Malinga and Sangakkara. Dilshan is back and so is Lakmal.
South Africa have won the toss and will bat first.
