Tottenham 7-1 Inter Milan
Tottenham hosted Inter Milan in the second round of their NextGen series match and they hammered the Italians.
Celtic were also in action but they came up against debutants Barcelona, who claimed a 3-1 win at Parkhead.
Spurs entertained Inter Milan in their second game of the Next Gen Series. After a bright opening by Inter, Spurs took control and within 15 minutes were 3-0 up thanks to goals from Alex Pritchard, Souleymane Coulibaly and Tomislav Gomelt. Gomelt went on to complete his hat-trick, whilst Coulibaly and Pritchard both claimed braces. Despite grabbing a first-half treble, Gomelt did not finish the game as he saw red for giving away a penalty - which Daniel Bessa converted for Inter.
Barcelona's opened their account in the NextGen tournament with a 3-1 win over Celtic in Glasgow. Over 5,500 came out to see the Tommy McIntyre's Celtic Under-19's face off against the next generation of the La Masia. Eduard Campabadal Claros gave Barca an early lead but Celtic hit back with Anthony Watt firing home a brilliant equaliser. Barca went onto win the game as Patricio Gabarron and Jean Marie Dongou fired home.
Funding problems have forced organisers of the NextGen Series to suspend the competition for a year.
