Staying in touch with your favourite team is now easier than ever for iPhone users with the launch of the Sky Sports' Football Score Centre application.

Football fans can keep track of all the latest scores as they happen with live coverage of all domestic league and cup competitions in England and Scotland as well as international competitions and Europe's top leagues and cup competitions.

Available for free in the iTunes store it's a must for all footy fans with a host of great features at your fingertips including live text commentaries, league tables, match photos, player profiles, match stats, fixtures and results.

The customisable "My Scores" page also allows users to select a specific match (or range of matches) they want to follow - storing it on a separate page for easy to use, one-click access back to the action.

Q: How can I get the Sky Sports Football Score centre iPhone/iPod Touch application?

A: There are two ways to get the app:

1: Download it directly through your iPhone or WiFi-connected iPod Touch by pressing the blue App Store icon. Then hit the Search tab and type 'SkySports''.

The Football Score Centre application will appear in the search results. Press the Football Score Centre icon and then when the next page loads you can purchase the application.

The Football Score Centre is absolutely free to download, simply tap the FREE button and 'INSTALL' will appear. Tap 'INSTALL' and you will be prompted to enter your iTunes password. Once you have done this select 'Confirm' and the Football Score Centre application will download automatically.

Once it has downloaded, simply tap the 'Football Score Centre' icon on your iPhone or iPod Touch and the application will load.

2: You can also download the Football Score Centre application using iTunes on your PC or Mac, and it will then install on your device next time you sync it with your computer.

To do so, visit the Football Score Centre iTunes App Store entry and follow the instructions, or search for 'SkySports' within the iTunes store. Simply click on 'Get App' and enter your Apple ID and password and the application will download to your iTunes account.

A: Press and hold the 'Football SC' icon on your iPhone or iPod touch for two seconds until it wiggles. Then tap the cross icon in the top left of the icon and it will uninstall.
