This week has seen the true romance of the FA Cup return, with shocks and drama galore. There has also been a demolition in netball, a great tennis battle Down Under and a ball boy shooting to fame in an unusual way.
Novak Djokovic
It was a
clash which would determine the leader of men's tennis as the 2013 season got underway, and it was Novak Djokovic who once again came out on top, despite being pushed in a battle with Andy Murray.
Djokovic became the first man to win three successive Australian titles in the Open era on Sunday, proving he is still the man to beat in the Grand Slam events.
In Melbourne, the Serbian came from a set down to win 6-7 7-6 6-3 6-2.
Murray refused to blame injury for the final defeat though, as well as dismissing suggestions that a floating feather between serves had distracted him at a crucial point in the match.
England Netball
What a week it has been for the England netballers as they completed a 3-0 series
whitewash over Australia!
They secured a 58-51 victory at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, which followed on from beating the World No 1 side 58-53 in Bath and 51-49 at Wembley.
It is a great moment for the team as they swept aside the Diamonds, highlighting the way the sport is moving in the right direction and that there is a bright future for netball in Britain.
Ian Bell
England beat India by seven
wickets in the final one-day international in Dharamsala, with Ian Bell scoring a splendid unbeaten century.
Opening batsman Bell ended on 113 not out, ensuring the tourists ended on a high despite India ultimately claiming a 3-2 series win.

FA Cup miseries
It was a weekend to forget for some top-flight managers, as their teams fell to shocking defeats in the FA Cup fourth round.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp was left
reeling with his players following the defeat to MK Dons at Loftus Road.
He admitted that he desperately needs to strengthen his squad before the transfer window closes, with players failing to take their chance to impress.
Norwich boss Chris Hughton was also left
frustrated after his side became the first Premier League team to be knocked out of the FA Cup by non-league opposition.
There were also shocks as Leeds beat Tottenham 2-1 at Elland Road and a late goal by Fernando Torres' salvaged Chelsea a replay with Brentford after a captivating 2-2 draw at Griffin Park.
Ball boy saga
This week saw a ball boy take centre stage in a rather
bizarre scenario at the Liberty Stadium, as Swansea hosted Chelsea in the Capital One Cup.
Eden Hazard was dismissed in the closing minutes for a moment of madness in the 0-0 semi-final second-leg draw after being involved in a tussle for the ball with the ball boy.
It was an incident which overshadowed Swansea City famously booking a place in the Capital One Cup final, as they progressed 2-0 on aggregate.
Alex Corbisiero
With the Six Nations now looming, England have suffered a setback with prop Alex Corbisiero ruled out for the
entire tournament.
Having undergone a procedure on Wednesday to clear out a "loose body" in his knee, Corbisiero's situation has forced England to call up Henry Thomas.
