The Belfast Giants continue to lead the way in the Rapid Solicitors Elite League after an impressive 4-1 victory at Hull Stingrays.
On Sunday, last season's champions actually fell behind against the Stingrays before they responded in style thanks to Will Colbert, Andrew Fournier, Noah Clarke and Darryl Lloyd.
Meanwhile, Sheffield Steelers ran riot against Braehead Clan, blowing their visitors away 3-0 in the opening period before going on to record a 7-3 thumping.
Steven Goertzen was a shining light for Ryan Finnerty's side, scoring their final goal, with the others coming from Jeff Legue, Ashley Tait (two), James Jorgensen, Connor Shields and Shawn Limpright.
Elsewhere in the Midlands, there were plenty of goals as the Cardiff Devils got the better of Coventry Blaze 4-3 after overtime, with Tyson Marsh scoring the winner after a brace from Israeli Max Birbraer had kept the Welsh side ahead.
Also in action were the Dundee Stars who won their all-Scottish clash with the Edinburgh Capitals 3-2 after a penalty shootout.
