Anthony Davidson, Alex Wurz and Marc Gene won the second round of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup with victory in the Spa 1000km race in Belgium on Saturday.
The victory was Peugeot's fifth in a row at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, and served as the perfect preparation for their assault on next month's Le Mans 24 Hours.
Problems in qualifying had dropped the trio to 13th on the grid but Wurz had taken the lead before he even completed his first stint in the car.
Peugeot also took second place with the car of Stephane Sarrazin, Franck Montagny and Nicolas Minassian finishing 42 seconds behind.
Their hopes of filling all three podium spots were dashed, though, as Pedro Lamy beached his car in the gravel before co-driver Simon Pagenaud suffered a suspension failure with 45 minutes to go.
Repairs were carried out but the car dropped to eighth, allowing the Audi of Allan McNish, Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen to take third place.
