Jorge Lorenzo fastest in the wet at Jerez's final MotoGP test
Jorge Lorenzo enjoyed the wet conditions at Jerez to set the fastest time on the opening day of the final MotoGP test.

Lorenzo was more than a second quicker than Honda duo Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez as rain spoiled much of Saturday's action at the Spanish track.
The first half of the day was almost a complete washout with a number of heavy rainstorms leaving most of the bikes in their garages.
The showers were more intermittent in the afternoon and Lorenzo took advantage to run for 39 laps and set the leading time of one minute, 47.423 seconds on his Yamaha.
Pedrosa took second, narrowly ahead of his new Repsol Honda team-mate Marquez and fourth-placed Andrea Iannone.
"We stayed on the track the whole day in the wet conditions and it was good to see how the bike performed," said Lorenzo.
"We are quite good in the wet here in Jerez. It's the first time we are in these conditions so it's important to understand what our levels are. It's important to be competitive in this situation."
Lorenzo's team-mate Valentino Rossi finished a reasonable sixth but he is looking forward to some better weather to better gauge his performance ahead of the season-opener in Qatar next weekend.
Rossi said: "The conditions today were very bad so we had to work on the wet.
"The feeling with the bike was not so bad but we had some problems with the life of the tyre, after some laps we started to spin a lot. It will be hard in a wet race to do 27 laps in a row.
"We also have an issue with the quantity of wet tyres as we have only two today, we have four in total so we keep two for tomorrow but we hope Sunday will be dry."
