Loughborough Lightning still top of the Netball Superleague

Beth Cobden, Loughborough Lightning

Loughborough Lightning remained on course for the Netball Superleague title with a 74-44 win against Celtic Dragons on Saturday.

Lightning are nine points clear of second-placed Wasps, who play Surrey Storm on Monday, live on Sky Sports Mix from 7pm.

Manchester Thunder remain third having beaten Hertfordshire Mavericks 60-46.

Team Bath ended Sirens' Superleague play-off hopes on Friday night with a 63-47 victory.

Bath moved into the Superleague's top four ahead of the play-offs, although they will immediately be leapfrogged if Surrey Storm beat Wasps on Monday night.

Bath have now won six games in a row, while the Scottish franchise Sirens have fallen too far adrift to qualify for the season-ending play-offs in their debut campaign.

Severn Stars went six points clear of Team Northumbria with a 64-47 win on Friday night. Northumbria remain second-bottom, six points ahead of Celtic Dragons.
