England Roses captained by Ama Agbeze for next month's Quad Series

Ama Agbeze will captain the England Roses squad in the Vitality Netball Quad Series next month.

The Roses take on New Zealand's Silver Ferns, the Samsung Australia Diamonds and South Africa's SPAR Proteas in a series of games split between the London's Copper Box and Johannesburg.

Jade Clarke takes on the role of Agbeze's vice-captain in what will be the last chance for England's players to shine before the 2018 Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast in Australia get underway in early April.

England open their campaign on their home court against the Silver Ferns on January 20, the same day the competition gets underway with a clash between the Diamonds and Proteas.

The Roses also face Australia in the final game at the Copper Box on January 22 before action switches to South Africa on January 25 where the Proteas take on New Zealand.

And the tournament concludes with another double-header on January 28 when Australia and New Zealand meet in a Trans-Tasman clash and South Africa face England in the finale.
