Washington Redskins cornerback Josh Norman is known for his combative style.

Having joined the Redskins in free-agency following four years with the Carolina Panthers, Norman has previously had a public spat with New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

One of Norman's tactics on the field is to try and get in his opponents' head, a strategy that has certainly worked with Beckham Jr in the past.

The Detroit Lions scored a last second field goal to beat the Minnesota Vikings 16-13.

However, it seemed an ill-conceived plan against Dallas Cowboys wideout Dez Bryant. A seven-year veteran, Bryant is used to dealing with trash talk, but it didn't stop the pair coming together on the field in a series of clashes throughout the Cowboys' 31-26 victory on Thanksgiving day.

After the game, Bryant called Norman "soft" and suggested the Redskins try and reclaim the money spent on him in the off-season.

"First off, Washington needs to get their money back from Josh Norman," Bryant said after the game.

"I didn't make it personal. I was just going to come out and do my job and that's exactly what I did. He wanted to bump and me and him got to bumping a little bit and it just made me attack him even more.

"I honestly feel like the guy is extremely soft. He's a bunch of talk. If he was out and about, I wouldn't dare on my life let him talk to me like that."

The win for Dallas helped them to 10 straight victories in a single season, setting a franchise record.
