What are your favourite Olympics memories?
It was probably the first Olympics I watched in 1972 in Munich and I remember seeing the gymnast Olga Korbut and seeing Valeri Borzov - who was the world's fastest man then. He won the 100 and the 200 metres and that was the sort of thing that made me think I'd love to give that a try.
Who would you class as the greatest Olympian of all time?
Second greatest you mean behind me! I think I'll go for Seb Coe, because the 1500m and the 800m are probably the most competitive events on earth and if you're the best of that huge pool of talent then you've got to be pretty good and to win the Olympics twice is pretty amazing.
How much of London 2012 will you be watching? Are you going?
I'll be at London 2012 working on the Olympics for Australian TV and doing commentary for them most days, then when I'm not working I hope to be taking the kids to watch as many events as I can, I really want them to see as much of it as they can as it's a once in a lifetime event.
What events are you most looking forward to?
I'm really looking forward to watching both triathlons, the two brothers we've got running in that are something special and it'd be amazing to see them coming home first and second in that, but I also just want to catch as much stuff as possible along with the kids because I just want to get them interested in as many different sports as possible.
How do you think Team GB will get on?
We'll do better than Beijing, I'm telling you right now, we're going to kick some arse. Listen, we've spent loads of money in the last six or seven years getting this team prepared and the kids have never let us down so why shouldn't we win loads of medals.
What sport would you like to see added to the Olympics?
My God, that's a very good one, you should've given me some notice about that! Because most good things are kind of in it, I'm not sure golf should be in it which it is next time. Rugby's coming in and that's a good sport. All I'll say is that for any sport the Olympics should be the pinnacle of that sport, and if it's not then I don't think the sport should be in it. That's nothing against the likes of Tiger Woods that's just against the sport in general.
If you were to enter the Olympics, which event would you choose and why (you can't pick decathlon)?
I guess you want to be the fastest man in the world don't you! I mean you can be the strongest man in the world or the greatest gymnast and all that but I reckon the fastest man in the world's almost as good as being the world's greatest athlete!
