Haye 13/8 to beat John Ruiz inside the distance

Saturday night saw David Haye become the first British world heavyweight champion since Lennox Lewis after he defeated the Russian Nikolay Valuev by a majority decision in Nuremberg. Haye's next fight could see him take on former world champion American John Ruiz early next year. It's 2/5 for the Hayemaker to successfully defend his title (15/8 Ruiz & 33/1 Draw) and it's 13/8 he wins inside the distance.

David Haye celebrating his victory over Nikolay Valuev?

After a tactical battle against Russian giant Valuev Sky Bet's boxing spokesman Scott Springgay expects a more exciting explosive display against John Ruiz who should be Haye's next opponent, "Ruiz is a tough veteran in the ring and a lot of his fights go to points against the top fighters but I expect Haye to really want to impress in this fight and take Ruiz down in style to send more ripples of excitement through the heavyweight division."

Should WBA champion Haye come through against Ruiz, he could be lined-up against the WBC world heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. It's 9/4 for Haye to defeat the Ukrainian (1/3 Klitschko & 33/1 Draw) and 5/2 to he wins inside the distance.

Murray 11/10 to win a Grand Slam in 2010

Following Andy Murray's straight sets victory over Russia's Mikhail Youzhny to claim the Valencia Open, Sky Bet are offering 11/10 for Britain's number one to win a Grand Slam event in 2010. The 22-year-old British number one, who is the only player in the world's top five not to have won a Grand Slam, is 4/6 not to win a major title in 2010. It's 6/4 that Murray goes on to lift one of the four Grand Slam titles in 2010, 7/1 two, 50/1 three and it's 500/1 that Murray goes on to achieve a clean sweep of Grand Slam titles in 2010.

Sky Bet's tennis betting expert Neil Brooks said: "Murray will be looking to improve on his grand Slam performances of 2009 where his best result was the semi final defeat at Wimbledon. With the pressure of the country on his shoulders on home soil, a better performance may come in the US Open. He enjoys the New York atmosphere and will hope to go one better than his final defeat in 2008."

Chelsea 15/8 to do the double over United

Following Chelsea's 1-0 victory over Manchester United, Sky Bet are offering 15/8 for the Blues to go on and record a league double over the defending champions. Chelsea, who are now five points clear at the top of the table, are evens to stay top of the table for the rest of the season and 4/5 to lift the Barclays Premier crown.

Sunday's victory over United saw Chelsea keep up their 100% winning record at home in the league this season. Sky Bet are offering a market on when will Carlo Ancelotti's men fail to win at home in the league. It's 5/1 when they take on Wolves (21st Nov), 11/4 Everton (12th Dec), 8/1 Portsmouth (16/1 Dec) and it's 4/6 that Chelsea keep up their winning record until Christmas Day.

Chelsea's clean sheet against United took the Blues run of consecutive clean sheets in the league at home to five. It's 7/4 that Wolves manage to break down the Chelsea defence and become the first team since Hull on the opening day of the season to score at Stamford Bridge. It's 15/8 that Everton are the next team to score in the league at the Bridge, 11/2 Portsmouth, 7/1 Fulham (28th Dec), 12/1 Sunderland (16th Jan), 25/1 Birmingham (27th Jan) and 14/1 Arsenal (6th Feb). It's 14/1 that Chelsea keep up their run of clean sheets until after the Arsenal game.

Westwood 6/4 to lift the Harry Vardon Trophy

With only two week's to go until the end of the Race to Dubai, Sky Bet make the current leader Lee Westwood the 6/4 joint favourite to lift the Harry Vardon Trophy. Northern Ireland's Rory McIIroy, who sits in second and takes part in the Hong Kong Open this week along side Westwood, is also 6/4.

Ross Fisher, who was the subject of a gamble last week after he won the World Match Play Championship, is 10/1 and German Martin Kaymer, who is in third €72,035 behind Westwood, is 4/1.

Sky Bet's golf betting expert John Rhodes said: "With only two counting events to go on the 2009 Race to Dubai, Lee Westwood and Rory McIlroy look to have the title between them, Westwood some 50k in front of the Holywood star. With both playing in Hong Kong this week, and Martin Kaymer in 3rd place taking the week off back home in Germany resting his foot, a win this week for either player will see one hand firmly on the Race to Dubai Crown."
