Button 4/6 for BBC Sports Personality crown

Following the release of the shortlist for the BBC Sports Personality 2009, Sky Bet make the current Formula One world champion Jenson Button their 4/6 favourite. World heptathlon champion Jessica Ennis is the 9/2 second favourite and recently crowned heavyweight boxing champion David Haye is 5/1. Manchester United's Ryan Giggs, who is the first footballer since Steven Gerrard in 2005 to be elected to the final 10, is 11/2 and England cricket captain Andrew Strauss, who guided England to an Ashes victory is 16/1.

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "It's not surprising to see the three British world champions, Button, Ennis and Haye dominate the betting but it's Ryan Giggs who has been the best supported since the list was announced. Giggs was as big as 33/1 yesterday but due to the weight of money we've seen in the last 24 hours he's now the 11/2 fourth favourite."

100/30 Arsenal to be the highest scoring team

The Carling Cup quarter-finals continue tomorrow and Sky Bet are offering a host of football betting markets including 11/2 for both Arsenal and Chelsea to win in 90 minutes. Arsenal make the trip north to take on Manchester City and it's 8/11 for that match to contain the most goals from the two quarter-finals (Blackburn v Chelsea evens). It's 100/30 for the Arsenal youngsters to score the most goals from the four teams playing in Wednesday's quarter-finals. Their North-London rivals Chelsea are the 13/8 favourites (15/8 Manchester City & 5/1 Blackburn).

Mark Hughes looks set to give striker Emmanuel Adebayor another run-out against his former club Arsenal. Adebayor, who caused uproar earlier on in the season after he raced the length of the pitch to celebrate his goal in front of the Arsenal fans, is 16/1 to be booked for a goal celebration and 11/8 to score in the 90 minutes.

Manchester City are 4/9 to progress through to the semi-finals (13/8 Arsenal) and 10/11 to beat Arsenal's young guns in 90minutes (3/1 Arsenal & 5/2 Draw).

In tomorrow's other match, Chelsea, who are unbeaten in their last nine matches in all competitions, are 1/5 to qualify (100/30 Blackburn) and 1/2 to win in normal time (6/1 Blackburn & 3/1 Draw).

5/1 Both Fulham & Everton qualify to knockout stages

The Europa League continues tomorrow, with Everton in a great position to qualify and Fulham still in with a fighting chance of progressing through to the knock-out stages. Sky Bet are offering 5/1 for both teams to qualify from the group stages.

Everton, who are currently second in Group I, three points behind leaders Benfica and two points ahead of BATE in third, are 2/7 to qualify for the knockout stages (5/2 be eliminated at the group stages) and 7/2 to go through as Group winners. Fulham, who are currently two points behind Roma in third in Group E, are 100/30 to qualify (1/5 not to qualify).

David Moyes will be desperate for his side to get a result tomorrow after they recoded their third successive defeat at the weekend. Everton have now only recorded one win in 11 games and it's 6/4 they get back to winning ways when they travel to Greece to take on AEK Athens (6/4 AEK Athens & 9/4 Draw).

Fulham know they must get a result on Thursday against CSKA Sofia if they are going to stand any chance of qualifying. It's 2/7 for Roy Hodgson's team to overcome CSKA Sofia, who are still looking for that first win in this years competition (7/1 CSKA Sofia & 4/1 Draw).

With Liverpool and Everton both representing the Barclays Premier in the Europa League, Sky Bet are offering odds on which Merseyside team will progress the furthest and make Rafa Benitez's men the 1/6 favourites (7/2 Everton). It's 50/1 that Liverpool and Everton contest the final in Hamburg.
