Crouch 13/8 to partner Rooney against USA

Peter Crouch staked his claim for a place on the plane to South Africa by scoring a brace against Egypt on Wednesday and Sky Bet now make him a 13/8 chance to start up front with Wayne Rooney in England's opening match against the USA on June 12.

Crouch: 20 goals in 37 appearances for England.

Crouch: 20 goals in 37 appearances for England.

After putting England in front in the 75th minute, Shaun Wright-Phillips has been cut to 5/6 from 5/4 to be included in Capello's final 23-man squad, while Theo Walcott has been lengthened to 5/4 (from 5/6).

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Dale Tempest said: "Crouch's England goal-scoring record is quite incredible but I'm not sure it will be enough to get him a start against the USA."

Robert Green's start against Egypt has seen his odds of claiming the number one jersey for the finals cut to 5/4, while David James and Joe Hart are now out to 5/2 joint second favourites.

Leighton Baines was also handed his chance to impress and is now clear favourite to start at left-back should Ashley Cole be absent, with Stephen Warnock an 8/1 chance to fill that position in the opening match.

Sky Bet are also offering odds on how England's defence will look in Rustenburg on June 12, with Wes Brown, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand and Ashley Cole most likely to start at 5/2.

You an also bet on England's midfield line-up against the USA and Sky Bet go 10/3 that it consists of Gareth Barry, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and Aaron Lennon.

New Zealand 11/4 to claim ODI series over Australia

After overcoming bitter rivals Australia in the first of the five one-day internationals, Sky Bet have cut New Zealand's odds of claiming the series to 6/5 (from 11/4).

Australia, who will be hoping to bounce back in Auckland are 2/5 to take the series. Stand-in captain Ross Taylor helped guide the Black Caps to victory in the 1st ODI with an innings of 70 runs. He's now 6/4 (from 3/1) to be New Zealand's leading series runscorer with Scott Styris, who blasted 49 runs from just 34 balls 5/1 (from 7/1).

The 2nd ODI gets underway tomorrow and it's 15/8 for the hosts to take a 2-0 lead with Australia 2/5 to level the series. It's 5/6 for the New Zealand opener Brendon McCullum to outscore Australia's Shane Watson (5/6) and 4/5 for Martin Guptill to outscore Brad Haddin (10/11).

Sky Bet's cricket betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "Ricky Ponting is bound to have his men rallied for tomorrow's match. The defeat was Australia's first in 13 one-day matches and if they lose again tomorrow, they may find it hard to claw back a 2-0 deficit."

Eoin Morgan 12/1 to hit back-to-back centuries

Following Eoin Morgan's match saving innings of 110 not out against Bangladesh in the 2nd one-day international, Sky Bet are offering 12/1 for the 23-year-old to record another century when the third ODI gets underway this Friday. It's 5/2 that Morgan scores a half-century and 8/1 he gets out for a duck.

England captain Alastair Cook, who followed up his 64 runs in the opening ODI with 60 runs yesterday, is 4/6 to outscore the current series leading runscorer Tamim Iqbal (11/10) in the final ODI. Paul Collinwood is 4/6 to outscore Mushfiqur Rahim (11/10) and Craig Kieswetter is 8/11 to outscore Imrul Kayes (evens).

England are 1/5 to win the final ODI at the Zohur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium with the hosts 7/2 to save themselves from a 3-0 whitewash.

Sky Bet's cricket betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "Bangladesh may have lost the series but with one match still to play, the Tigers will be desperate to finish on a high and record an ODI victory over a top 5 ranked team."
