Michael Owen 8/1 to retire this season

Michael Owen has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a hamstring injury but has promised fans that he will be back and fit at the start of next season. Sky Bet go 1/2 that Owen is still a Manchester United player at the start of next season and 6/4 that he leaves the club this summer.

Owen: out for the season.

Owen: out for the season.

11/4 is on offer for Owen to start United's opening game of the 2010/11 Premier League and it's 7/4 that he scores on his first game back.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Dale Tempest said: "Owen has shown time and time again how strong he is mentally by overcoming numerous injuries throughout his career. I've no doubt that if his body allows, he'll be back scoring goals again next season."

Owen has been plagued with hamstring injuries throughout his career and Sky Bet go 8/1 that the 30-year-old striker decides to retire this summer. Should Owen hang up his boots, he is likely to devote more time to his passion for horse racing. Sky Bet offer 16/1 that Owen owns a Royal Ascot winner in 2010 and 25/1 that he becomes a racehorse trainer in the next five years.

Premier League run-in betting: Arsenal 25/1 not to drop a point

Sir Alex Ferguson believes Arsenal's Premier League run-in is significantly easier than that of Manchester United and Chelsea and Sky Bet make Arsenal's odds of winning all ten of their remaining matches a 25/1 chance. It's 2/1 that Arsene Wenger's four-year trophy drought finally comes to an end this season.

The Premier League tricast betting is wide open with the title pursuit developing into an intriguing three-horse race. On paper, the Gunners have arguably the easiest programme and Sky Bet make it a 10/3 chance that they win the title, with Chelsea coming runners-up and Manchester United finishing third.

United are 5/1 to finish second to Wenger's men, with Chelsea taking third spot and the current top three of Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal are 9/4 to finish the season in that order.

With just three points separating the trio, Sky Bet go 7/2 that the title is won on goal difference, 100/30 that it is won by a single point and 11/4 that it is decided before the last day of the season.

Both Arsenal and Manchester United have a chance to go top of the league on Saturday and Sky Bet go 16/1 that Gunners occupy the summit after Saturday's games and 1/16 that Manchester United take the lead.

FA Cup betting - 150/1 all quarter-finals go to a replay

Sky Bet have produced a series of FA Cup betting specials ahead of this weekend's quarter-finals.

Four of the eight fifth-round matches went to replays and Sky Bet go 150/1 that all four quarter-finals go to a replay. Sky Bet favour one replay at 11/10 and make it 9/4 that all the quarter-finals are decided on the day.

Betting is also available on which quarter-final will be the highest scoring game and Sky Bet make Sunday's Chelsea v Stoke tie 11/8 favourite. It's 4/7 that more goals are scored in Sunday's quarter-finals, which also see the last remaining Football League side Reading take on Aston Villa, than in Saturday's matches, which include the round's most intriguing tie between local rivals Fulham and Tottenham.

In the last round, Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor received a straight red card for raising an arm against Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross and Sky Bet go 5/6 that one player or more is sent off during the quarter-finals.

Sky Bet are also offering 'name the finalists' betting and make a Wembley showdown on May 15 between holders Chelsea and Aston Villa the 5/1 favourite.

Phil Taylor 6/4 to power through Premier League unbeaten

Phil Taylor's odds of remaining unbeaten in this season's Whyte and Mackay Premier League are just 6/4 after he powered past old rival Raymond van Barneveld in Exeter on Thursday to maintain his 100% record.

It's 1/2 that Taylor suffers at least one defeat in his xx Premier League campaign.

Taylor is now 1/4 favourite against the field (11/4) but Mervyn King is keeping the pressure on 'The Power' with three wins out of four and has been cut to 8/1 (from 10/1) to go one better than last year and claim his first Premier League title.

Taylor and King meet in a mouth-watering, top-of-the-table clash next week in Manchester and Sky Bet make Taylor 2/5 to preserve his 100% record, with King available at 7/2 and the draw a 9/2 chance.

Sky Bet's darts betting expert Craig Ibbotson said: "Taylor has not yet hit form despite winning all four of his matches so far and certainly the form man is Mervyn King. I would not be surprised to see the match of the tournament in Manchester next week and a draw could certainly be on the cards."

Kieswetter 4/7 to be named in World Twenty20 squad

Craig Kieswetter was the hero of the day for England scoring his maiden one-day international century to set up for a 3-0 series whitewash in Bangladesh and Sky Bet have now cut Kieswetter's odds of being named in England's world Twenty20 squad to 4/7 from 5/6.

The South-African-born opener hit three sixes in a top score of 107 from 124 balls in just his third ODI since qualifying for England and Sky Bet make him a 5/4 chance to make his Test debut by the end of the year.

Sky Bet's cricket betting expert Jason Colley said: "Kieswetter staked his claim for a permanent place in England's limited overs team and will also be looking to put pressure on Matt Prior for his Test place after starting his England career in great form."

22-year-old Kieswetter is 4/1 to be England's top ODI runscorer this year and 12/1 to score another ton in England's next ODI.
