Louis Oosthuizen 12/1 to win a Major in 2011

Louis Oosthuizen is 12/1 with Sky Bet to win a major in 2011 following his seven-shot victory at the Open Championship at St Andrews. It was the 27-year-old's first major triumph and it's 66/1 for the South African to go on to win the 2010 WGC-Bridgestone Invitational at Firestone in August and 10/1 he wins the South African Open in December.

Can Oosthuizen go on to win another major?

Can Oosthuizen go on to win another major?

Oostuizen, who has won two events on the 2010 European Tour this year, is 3/1 to win three or more events on tour in 2010 and 2/9 to fail to record another victory.

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "Winning a major is the ultimate prize for all top professional golfers, the question now is how will Oosthuizen react. Will he go onto bigger and better things or quickly become known as a one hit wonder."

Westwood 9/2 to break his major duck in 2011

Sky Bet are offering 9/2 for Lee Westwood to win that first elusive major in 2011 following his second place finish at the Open. The world number three's second place at St Andrews means he has now finished third, third, second, 16th and second in the last five majors and with one major to go in 2010 the USPGA Championship at Whistling Straits, it's 14/1 for Westwood to break his duck in 2010.

It's 7/1 Westwood claims his first major in 2012 and 7/1 2013. 5/6 is on offer that the Englishman fails to win a major in his career.

Sky Bet's Andy Thorpe said: "Westwood is obviously in the form of his life and few would question that he is the best player at the moment not to have won a major. However, he needs to take advantage of the decline in Woods' form but more importantly needs to hole a few more putts. His best chance is going to come next year but if he fails to achieve a major win in 2011, then it will be hard to see him break his duck."

Fulham 16/1 to win a trophy in the 2010/11 season

Fulham are 16/1 to win a trophy next season following reports that Martin Jol is set to be named as the new manager at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers are currently managerless after Roy Hodgson left to mange Liverpool but it now looks like Fulham have found a replacement.

It's 13/8 for Fulham to achieve a top-half finish in the Premier League in the 2010/11 season (4/9 bottom half) and 4/5 they achieve 45 points or more in the season (10/11 44 points or fewer).

Fulham are 12/1 to win both league games against Jol's former club Tottenham and it's 16/1 about them doing the double over Roy Hodgson's Liverpool.

Sky Bet's football betting spokesman Tim Reynolds said: "Martin Jol will really need to work his magic if Fulham are going to win any silverware in their 2010/11 campaign. The Cottagers finished twelfth last season so if Jol wants to try and better that, he will have to bring in some new players to strengthen the squad."

Joe Cole 7/2 to score on his Liverpool debut

Following the news that Joe Cole has signed a four year deal for Liverpool, Sky Bet are offering a selection of debut specials and make the England international 7/2 to score in his opening match. It's 80/1 that Cole marks his debut with a hat-trick and 7/2 he gets booked.

Cole, who only managed two goals from the 26 appearances he made for Chelsea in the league last season, is 5/6 to score six or more league goals during his 2010/11 Premier League campaign (5/6 five or fewer).

It's 50/1 for Cole to be crowned the PFA Player of the Year.

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "This is a great signing for Liverpool and it demonstrates how much Hodgson wants to bring Champions League football back to Anfield. The signing of Cole should also help Liverpool keep hold of Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard, who are said to be considering their futures with the Merseyside club."
