Fulham 13/8 for top half finish
Fulham are 13/8 with Sky Bet to finish the 2010/11 Barclays Premier League season in the top half under new manager Mark Hughes. The former Manchester City manager was confirmed as Roy Hodgson's successor at Craven Cottage yesterday evening having been out of football since December 2009.
Hughes to guide Fulham to silverware?
The Cottagers narrowly missed out on silverware last term and are 16/1 to lift a trophy in Hughes' first season. They are 16/1 to beat Hodgson's new team Liverpool in both league games this season, and 12/1 to do the league double over London rivals Tottenham.
Hughes' first league game in charge of Fulham will be against Bolton at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday 14th August. It's 2/1 for Fulham to claim maximum points from their opening fixture, while Bolton are 6/5 and the draw is on offer at 9/4.
Fulham are 20/1 to finish next season in the Premier League's top 6, and 40/1 to secure one of the Champions League spots under Hughes' guidance.

Liverpool cut to 10/1 for European glory
Sky Bet have cut Liverpool's odds to 10/1 (from 12/1) to win the Europa League this season after Roy Hodgson's men overcame FK Rabotnicki 2-0 in the third qualifying round first leg.
Big spending Manchester City, who will be looking to claim their first piece of European silverware since lifting the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1970, are Sky Bet's 6/1 favourites to lift the trophy. Italian giants Juventus are 10/1 and current holders Atletico Madrid are 14/1.
The Premier League's other representative Aston Villa are 25/1 to win the competition.
Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "It was great to see Roy Hodgson gain a win in his first competitive match in charge especially after deciding to leave all his World Cup players behind. Hodgson is proven on the European circuit but he will have to get the best out of his players, if he's going to guide Liverpool to European glory."

Bristol City 5/6 to keep 13 or more clean sheets
Sky Bet make Bristol City 5/6 to keep 13 or more clean sheets in the upcoming season following the news that they have secured the services of England international David James.
The 39-year-old, who made three appearances at the recent World Cup, is 5/2 to start between the sticks for England's friendly against Hungary on August 11th.
After finishing 10th last season the Robins are 5/1 to get promoted to the Premier League next season and 12/1 to claim Championship glory.
Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "David James will bring plenty of experience to Ashton Gate and if the England international can stay fully fit he will definitely be a great addition to Steve Coppell's squad."

Will Britain see Gold tonight?
Tonight there is significant British interest in some of the big finals taking place in the European Championships in Barcelona.
In the 200m, Christian Malcolm is 22/1 and Marlon Devonish 40/1 with Sky Bet, with both having returned to form and looking strong in the heats.
Paul Hession of Ireland has disappointed so far, and he is 40/1 for the title. Unfortunately for them, they face the French speedster Christophe Lemaitre, who has already bagged the 100m at these Championships. He is 2/7 for the gold here.
Martyn Rooney (9/1) and Michael Bingham (17/2) have disappointed in the 400m so far and have been given poor lane draws for the final. Irishman David Gillick has looked strong in the heats, and he is 7/2 for the gold medal. Jonathan Borlee, the better of the two twins in the final, has looked imperious so far, and he is 4/6 for the title.
Jenny Meadows (11/2) and the fast improving Jemma Simpson (7/1) look to challenge the Russian Maria Savinova in the 800m. Savinova has been quick this year, recording a quick time of 1.57.56 in Eugene recently. Both of the Brits stand a great chance of medalling.
The 1500m looks like a battle between the Brits and the Spanish hosts. Andy Baddeley (2/1) will go head-to-head with the well backed Arturo Cassado (7/4).
Andy Turner (9/4) goes head-to-head with his arch nemesis Petr Svoboda (7/4) in the 100m hurdles, in what looks like the most open event of the whole championships. Look for the giant Daniel Kiss to go well (9/2). Motormouth former Gladiators time keeper Will Sharman (10/1) has failed so far to live up to his own hype.

Punters Keepinfaith in Stewards' Cup gamble
Rileyskeepinfaith is the big mover in the market for the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood on Saturday and has been cut into 10/1 from 14s with Sky Bet paying five places instead of four on the feature sprint.
Mick Channon's four-year is berthed in stall 15 and Friday's Stewards' Cup consolation race seemed to favour those drawn middle to high in a 1-2 finish for the Dandy Nicholls yard.
Joseph Henry led home stablemate Victoire de Lyphar and Sky Bet offer odds of 33/1 for Nicholls to repeat the feat in the Stewards' Cup with any of his three runners or 7/1 to train the winner.
Nicholls saddles 14/1 shot Striking Spirit, the mount of son and stable jockey Adrian, last year's runner-up Evens And Odds (25/1) and the 33/1 outsider of the trio Sonny Red.
Matt Doyle of Sky Bet said: 'Dandy has fired a warning shot to his rivals with a 1-2 in the consolation race and his runners are always well supported in the big one with punters following the sprint king.'
Among other Stewards' Cup trainer specials, Richard Fahey goes mob-handed with five of the 28 runners in the field and is 4/1 with Sky Bet to train his first winner of the Heritage sprint handicap.
