Craig Bellamy 10/1 Championship top scorer

Following the news that Craig Bellamy has joined Cardiff City on loan, Sky Bet make the Welsh international 10/1 to be the Championship top scorer. It's 5/6 for Bellamy to score 17 or more league goals during the 2010/11 season and 5/6 16 or fewer.

Bellamy to shine in the Championship?

Bellamy to shine in the Championship?

Bellamy could be handed his debut when Cardiff host Doncaster this weekend and it's 11/10 for the 31-year-old to score on his debut and 28/1 he bags a hat-trick. 2/1 is on offer that Bellamy gets booked and it's 16/1 he gets sent off.

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "Bellamy can count himself unlucky not to make Manchester City's 25-man squad as he was outstanding for City last season. The Citizens' loss is Cardiff's gain and you can guarantee that the Welsh international will be an instant hit with his hometown club."

Rooney 10/11 to end his goal drought against Fulham

After failing to score in Manchester United's 3-0 win over Newcastle last night, Sky Bet make Wayne Rooney 10/11 to end his goal drought this weekend when United take on Fulham at Craven Cottage. The England international has now gone 13 matches without a goal in all competitions and it's 9/4 that Rooney brings an end to this run when United host West Ham (28th August). It's 7/1 that Rooney scores when Alex Ferguson's men travel to Goodison Park (12th September).

Rooney's last league goal came against Liverpool on the 21st March 2010 and it's 11/1 that he scores when Manchester United host Liverpool (19th September).

United then have two away games in a row and it's 16/1 for Rooney's next goal comes against Bolton (26th September) and 33/1 against Sunderland (2nd October). 50/1 is on offer for Rooney to end his goal drought against West Brom (16th October) and 80/1 against Stoke (24th October).

It's 5/1 that the 24-year-old fails to score in United's next eight league games.

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "Rooney was outstanding for United last season scoring a total of 34 goals in all competitions so you can guarantee that when he does eventually find the back of the net the goals will definitely start to come."

England 6/5 to whitewash Pakistan

Sky Bet are seeing some good support for England to whitewash Pakistan 4-0 (6/5) ahead of the 3rd test which gets underway tomorrow from the Oval.

With only two Tests to go, Sky Bet make Jonathan Trott, who has already scored 172 runs in the series, the 5/2 favourite to be England's leading series runscorer. Kevin Pietersen, who is 61 runs behind Trott, is 4/1 along with the England captain Andrew Strauss (49 runs behind Trott).

England are 1/2 to claim the 3rd Test with the visitors Pakistan 11/2 (11/4 Draw).

Sky Bet's Tim Reynolds said: "The Oval is known for being a good batting wicket so if the weather doesn't affect any of the five days, England should be confident of taking a 3-0 lead in the series going into the final Test at Lords."

Gary Speed 4/6 to last the season

Gary Speed is 4/6 with Sky Bet to last the season after his appointment as the new boss of Sheffield United.

Speed was confirmed as Kevin Blackwell's successor at Bramall Lane this afternoon. Blackwell left his role by mutual consent on Saturday after his side's 3-0 home defeat to QPR.

The former Wales international begins his reign with a trip to the Riverside on Sunday. Speed is 3/1 to put one over on his former Leeds team-mate Gordon Strachan in his first game in charge.

It's 4/1 the former Leeds, Newcastle and Everton midfielder wins the manager of the month award for the Championship club at any point during the 2010/11 season.

Rewilding new 6/4 St Leger favourite

Rewilding shot straight to the head of the St Leger market at 6/4 (from 4s) with Sky Bet following his impressive four length success in the Great St Voltigeur Stakes at York on Wednesday.

The Godolphin colt was always travelling strongly in rear under Frankie Dettori and unleashed a smart turn of foot when asked to see off the Ballydoyle pair Midas Touch, who was giving the winner 3lbs, and Joshua Tree.

Matt Doyle of Sky Bet said: 'The winner rubber stamped his Leger claims in breathtaking style in one of the best trials for the Oldest Classic and had the right horses filling the frame behind.'

The runner-up Midas Touch has now twice finished behind the winner after they last met in the Epsom Derby and had his Leger odds eased out to 6/1 from 4s, while third Joshua Tree is 14s from 25/1.
