Hi Glenn, just interested to get your thoughts on the Froch-Kessler fight next saturday night, potential FOTY candidate i think. Irrespective of frochs critics he keeps winning and i cant think of a british boxer in years to take on boxers the quality of pascal, taylor, dirrell and kessler one after the other and with abraham to come also on august 21st. Fighters fighter is froch.

Hi Glenn, My question is quite simple really i'm a huge boxing fan but i'm getting a little fed up of boxers winning a world title and sitting on it to earn their millions (especially the heavyweights) so do you think there should be a governing body put in place to ensure that the different versions of the belts are forced to take on each other and hopefully unify divisions as for me the only TRUE world champ is an undisputed one.

Hi Glen, What is your opinion on what Audley Harrsion keeps saying with regards to David Haye? Personally I think his comments are ludicrous. David Haye is a heavyweight Champion he was undisputed Cruiserweight champion and Audley Harrsion has done what??? I don¿t dislike Harrison but why make all these comments about Haye running scared etc. - Thanks

With it looking promising for a Haye vs Wladimir Klitschko bout some time later this year where do you stand on the winner? Haye looked very impressive against Ruiz. But he did seem to be blowing a fair bit and fairly early on in the fight. Do you think stamina could become a big issue if the fight were to go into the latter rounds?

Glenn, What do you think about Amir Khan's decision to duck Maidana in favour of Mallinaggi. He said he wanted a big name yet when Bradley says he wants Maidana everyone is saying what a great fight and great move by Bradley. I think Amir khan missed a trick. If he could have out boxed and KOed maidana (as i think he could) he could have landed in America with a bang like Prince Naz did. Instead, when he beats feather fisted Paulie he will get no props and if loses it will take him years to build back his rep. Everyone is questioning his chin and he picks the guy with the worst KO ratio out of any contender I can remember. I wish he went in with a power puncher like Maidana and proved himself.

Hi glenn, in my opinion heavyweight boxing has always been lacking and people seem to look back with rose tinted glasses on how good it was. heavyweight boxing has only ever had one or two good fighters at anyone time. Ive checked out quite a few of the so called great heavyweights records and most of them dont even have a half decent name on them and those who did fight a so called great, they was over the hill. This goes for mike tyson, holmes, spinks and lewis. even tho lewis beat holyfield and tyson they was both past their best so I think lewis best win was against v.klitscho but he was going to lose that but cuts saved him. Even some the so called greats from the sixties were average. Technique and defences were poor thats whys fights seemed exciting. The reason im writing this is because I think the Klitschos get a bad press and are called boring but this era is like any other era in heavyweight boxing. What do you think glenn?

Hi Glenn, As an avid boxing fan I can't help but notice the recent downfall in the amount of heavyweight boxers coming through the ranks. Do you think that heavyweight boxing is a thing of the past? While there are still some great boxers in the division - Haye, Klitschko(s), Ruiz etc, it has been years since I seen a great heavyweight fight. It seems the lower weight classes have taken over (Not necessarily a bad thing). Cheers

Hi Glen. I'm a big boxing fan but won't pretend to be in any way an expert on the sport. I have always had a conflicting view on the career and ability of Joe Calzaghe and would like to know where you think he is placed amongst the boxing greats. On one hand his record cannot be questioned, to go an entire career without one single slip or poor performance resulting in a loss is staggering. His chin was solid, his hand speed dazzling and his performance against Lacy was one of the most accomplished I have ever seen from any boxer in a big fight. On the other hand the quality of his opponents could be questioned, and he seemed to lack the desire, or perhaps even the confidence, to take on the best (in America) in their prime. Admittedly, although Hopkins was old he was still a great fighter when Joe fought him, but for me as much as I dislike B-Hop as a boxer, I thought he was the better man that night. He certainly seemed to get the better of the exchanges. Calzaghe's exaggerated celebration in beating the ghost of Roy Jones surely convinced nobody that that fight was anything other than beating up the old, fight -ravaged shell of a once great boxer that he wouldn't fight (or for my money, defeat) in his prime. There are compelling arguments for and against the greatness of Calzaghe and the truth is I simply don't know what to think and would welcome your expert opinion.

Hi Glenn, just wanted to get your opinion on Amir Khan ? Three questions how do you believe Amir will do agaisnt skillful and tricky but not the greatest puncher paulie Malignaggi? Will the bout be on sky ? Is amir khan a threat to the likes of tim bradley, edwin valero, marcos midania , devon alexander and perhaps even ricky hatton ?

Glen, what are your thoughts on the supers six? who would you pick as the winner? I know alot of questions asked have been on amir khan, I agree he is a exceptional talent but I also agree with the view that so far his career has been handpicked. Forget Ricky Hatton, he is past it now and has lived his legacy, the fight I think that would have defined Amir Khan would have been a Katsidis fight. Both Amir Khan and Kevin Mitchell would beat Ricky Hatton, but is there a chance of Amirk Khan, Kevin Mitchell, ever fighting? Is it not unfair how Kevin Mitchell and JohnMurray have not had any world title opportunity where as Khan has? James Degale? Do you think he tries to fight like other people and should concentrate on fighting like himself? in his last fight he was trying to duck like Naz one minute then defend like Maweather the next as good as talent he might be his fighting style looks odd.

Hi Glenn only 1 question for you. Do you believe that thier is too much ducking and diving in Boxing today? I ask because Pacquiao v Mayweather broke down due to a blood test, Paul Williams v Kelly Pavlik still not happened, David Haye has avoided both Klitshcko's (supposedly injuries to blame on both counts ) and Amir Khan wanting to make a big US debut chooses to fight Malignaggi a weak puncher instead of Maidana or Bradley who's names are bigger.

Hi Glenn. I'm a fanatic boxing follower. Just want to know, who do you think has been our greatest over the last 28 years of my life? Lewis,Hatton,Calzaghe have so much respect from me but...... do you not think that Naz was our greastest ever? Did the fame/money go to his head? By the time he fought Barrerra I think he'd lost interest in the sport. He should have been up there with with the Ali's/Mayweather's/Pacquiao's. Obviously you know more. He could have been much more of a legend than he is.

Glen. Thanks for replying to my questions about Ricky Hatton. I understand what your saying about no one wanting to see him get hurt as he is such a popular boxer. Personally I think he has what it takes to compete at the top level again but time will tell. I think if he could beat Marquez it could get him back into the top 10 p4p rankings. In your professional opinion who do you think he should fight next? Cheers. Scott Wyllie.

Alright Glenn, i just read the article about Amir khan wanting to fight mallignaggi, saying he wants to fight a big name on his american debut. My thoughts on this are that khan wants to fight a half decent name with no power whatsoever. Khan said he wont fight maidana ( a heavy puncher) because his name isnt big enough although he is the mandotary, but he would however fight victor ortiz. The same Victor Ortiz that got knocked out by Maidana. So i truly beleive Amir is running scared of maidana. Another name that hasn't been mentioned is Edwin Valero, who is wanting to move up to light welter. Why hasn't his name been mentioned? Because he is a huge puncher to. Ive no doubt Amir khan is technically brilliant, but i do doubt his chin (obviously) and his guts. He has mentioned about fighting marquez, (who is a true legend) but be brutally honest, its another barerra again. A legend that is far beyond his best . Also he goes on about he would fight Victor Ortiz or Nate Campbell in may, but seemingly forgetting that he cant fight either of these two, because they are fighting eachother in May. I think for all the talent Amir Khan has got i think he has had his fights handpicked, and if he does want to go down as a great, then he needs to grow some kohoonas and take some risks. So my rant is over, what do you think?

It seems to me to many people are knocking Degale. Give the lad a chance i say. He hasn't been pro long and people are already slating him. In my view he has the talent to succeed in the professional ranks, He's still young and ok it might take a little longer to adjust. than a lot anticipated. But some ex-amateur champs need a little longer. What do you reckon Glen..Good luck Degale!

I think there should be a prizefighter-style tournament for the old pros. Yourself, Nigel Benn, Johny Nelson, Naseem Hamed and Barry Mcguigan if he put on 10 stone. What are your thoughts?

Hi Glenn, I know you have to be very careful with what you say on this subject, but surely you must be surprised by Manny Pacquiao's knockout power at lightweight, light-welter, and welterweight? He was life and death with Erik Morales and Juan Manuel Marquez at feather and super-featherweight. Somehow, he's knocking out quality heavier fighters. His ability to take a body punch, especially in the Cotto fight, seems to have improved ten-fold and it seems that even fighters like Ricky Hatton, who commented on this in Boxing Monthly, are bewildered by the transformation. I mean this is a guy who couldn't put away Oscar Larios a few years ago. What do you think? By rejecting the Mayweather-imposed drug tests, has he sparked suspicion?

Hi Glen, I know how highly you rate Floyd Mayweather Jnr and I must agree he is a great fighter although very boring to watch at times I am also a big Shane Mosley fan and although he is a bit long in the tooth I think he can give Mayweather a lot of problems and he might even be the first fighter to beat him could you please give me your opinion on this fight and who do you fancy to come out on top. Cheers Francis.

Has a boxing fan I just wanted to get your thoughts Glenn, on the 1997 Roberto Duran vs Dave Radford fight in South Africa has I think its one of the great stories that dont seem to come round that often in boxing anymore, as a reletive unknown fighter Radford trying to apply his trade in this profession, to getting a chance to fight one of the greatest fighers that have ever lived?

Hi Glen, i'm interested in the possible fight between DeGale & Groves, i've watched a couple of Degales fights & was at newcastle for his last fight & i have to say was unimpressed, he didn't have a good punch variation & looks like he slaps with his punches hitting with the cuff! i've only seen Groves once on haye undercard vs a game but outclassed opponent, Who do you think wins this fight? because based on what i've seen my moneys on Groves
