Big Bucs at stake

Tampa Bay are prepared for Wembley battle, says Georgie

This week we have had a heated debate in the office about Monday's Special Report.

Our producer Anna and I gave what we thought was a more than convincing argument about why we should use Bonnie Tyler's Holding Out for a Hero'as our signature track to accompany 'Gridiron Goes Global'.

Ready to rumble: Josh Freeman is all set to lead Tampa Bay's charge

Ready to rumble: Josh Freeman is all set to lead Tampa Bay's charge

It doesn't happen often but on this rare and most unfortunate occasion Anna and I were shouted down by another producer Simon and the boss, Haydn.

Their combined professional standing sadly outweighed that of Anna and I and so, reluctantly, we were forced to abandon our homage to the 80's and bow to the boys' so called 'superior' tastes in music. Sorry girls but we have to choose our battles wisely and this wasn't one worth fighting for (unlike Bonnie's hero).

The Bucs are already perfectly prepared for battle and by the look of them, they are definitely up for the fight.

SPECIAL REPORT
7.30pm, Mon, Sky Sports News HD

Thing is, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers don't really need Bonnie or any of her heroes. They are already perfectly prepared for battle and by the look of them, they are definitely up for the fight.

Ahead of their London showdown with the Chicago Bears we sent our Special Report team to visit the Glazer owned Bucs at their home in Florida.

OMG! Firstly, if you thought Premier League footballers were well provided for you've seen nothing yet. Secondly, if you thought David Haye was buff, stand by...

Over the course of half-hour show you'll see state-of-the-art facilities that will blow your mind, meet the coaches, (15) players (60) and cheerleaders (18-30).

Truly, 'Gridiron Goes Global' has something for everyone. Just don't blink or you may miss something... sadly it won't be Bonnie, probably some nasty grungy number instead.

I'm not at all bitter. Anna on the other hand...
