Annie Power is set to make her seasonal return in Wednesday's punchestown.com Mares Hurdle at Punchestown.
The eight-year-old has been off the track since winning a Grade One event at that track's Festival last May, making amends for her final-flight departure when booked for victory in the Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Willie Mullins had planned to have his star mare back in action earlier in the season but a knocked joint has delayed her return and connections were considering heading straight to Cheltenham.
However, Mullins has been pleased by her progress and Annie Power could now line up in Wednesday's two-and-a-half-mile event.
He said: "I think she will run at Punchestown. I'm happy enough with her, and she's been working nicely."
