A review of Tuesday's action at Wolverhampton where Ickymasho made all for trainer Jonathan Portman.

Jonathan Portman hopes the handicapper is not too harsh on Ickymasho after the filly made all to win at Wolverhampton.

The Upper Lambourn trainer was delighted with her performance and would like to run her in a similar event, if the assessor allows.

George Baker was always in control on the 11/4 favourite in the Family Fun Day Monday 8th August Fillies' Handicap.

Her rivals could not get near the four-year-old in the straight, as she ran out a cosy winner by three and a quarter lengths from Hope You Dance to land her second success over this mile and a half.

"George gave her a confident ride and she won a bit too well in the end," said Portman.

"We're delighted and just hope the handicapper gives us the chance to run her in another similar race.

"The owners won't be too keen on running her under a penalty, so we'll just sit tight."

Scarpeta (9/4 favourite) was another to put up a sound front-running performance when following up a Beverley success in the Follow AtTheRaces On Twitter Handicap.

Franny Norton dictated affairs on the Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old from the outset and won virtually unchallenged by five lengths from Frivolous Prince.

George Downing was suspended for seven days after finishing a neck second on The Lillster in division one of the #followus On Twitter At WolvesRaces Handicap.

The 3lb-claiming apprentice will be out of action from June 7 to 13 inclusive after being found guilty of improper riding after a bunch finish to the race won by Robert Tart on the Anthony Carson-trained Tulip Dress (20/1).

Division two went to Robert Cowell's Jumeirah Star (3/1), who made most of the running under Adam Beschizza.

Dommersen (7/2) backed up last month's Lingfield maiden success in pleasing style as John Gosden's three-year-old took the Visit wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk Handicap in the hands of Rab Havlin.

Trainer John Butler celebrated his 44th birthday with victory courtesy of Come On Dave (6/4 favourite) in the Black Country Chamber Of Commerce Claiming Stakes.

Adam Kirby made mall on the seven-year-old, who was registering his 10th success.

The Richard Hannon-trained Papa Luigi (10/11 favourite), ridden by Kieran O'Neill, opened his account at the ninth attempt when beating Waneen by three and a quarter lengths in the At The Races App On Android Maiden Stakes.

Trainer Robyn Brisland enjoyed his first winner for 89 days when Barnaby Brook (11/4 favourite) followed up a Chelmsford success in February by lifting the Visit attheraces.com Handicap under Luke Morris.
