Tryster is set to clash with Japanese superstar A Shin Hikari in the Prince Of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot.
Charlie Appleby's five-year-old had built a reputation for himself as an all-weather specialist in Britain, being unbeaten in six outings in 2015.
However, he proved he was no one-trick pony when winning a Group One on the turf at Meydan back in March, before finishing a respectable third behind another Japanese star, Real Steel, in the Dubai Turf later that month.
"Tryster has come back very well. He had to do a month in quarantine so he had an enforced break there, but he's been back in the UK six weeks now. He's in great order," Appleby told At The Races.
"We're looking towards the Prince of Wales's with him as 10 furlongs is up his street.
"The (Dubai Turf) form got a boost with Marco Botti's filly (Euro Charline, second) running well at Newbury the other day (in the Lockinge) so it's held up nicely.
"We're looking forward to Ascot.
"He's one of those horses who thrived in Dubai - the style of racing suited him out there.
"We've only really had one blip with him which was at Sandown (last May), where you need to be ridden more forward and his style is to be held up.
"Going to Ascot, hopefully we'll be able to use that style as he's shown what he can do on turf as well as synthetics now. He's an exciting horse to have around."
Whether stablemate Emotionless will be joining him at Ascot is still up in the air, but the St James's Palace Stakes has still not been ruled out.
"Emotionless is pleasing us all the time now. He's in all the top Group Ones, but we'll let him tell us when he's ready," said Appleby.
"We're taking it week by week. Ascot is not out of the reckoning, but we'll let him tell us and then we'll make decision."
