Charlie Appleby considers Chester for Folkswood

Charlie Appleby feels the tightness of Chester could play into the hands of Folkswood if he runs in the Huxley Stakes next month.
The Newmarket handler has earmarked the mile-and-a-quarter Group Three on May 11 as a possible target for the four-year-old, who finished a close second in the Earl of Sefton at Newmarket on his first start back in Britain following a profitable spell in Dubai.
Appleby said: "It was another solid performance from Folkswood.
"I thought at the two-pole he was going to win it, but he ran around a little bit near the end and probably just got outbattled by the winner (Steel Of Madrid), who is a respectable horse on his day.
"One of his main attributes is that he does enjoy being on the front end and maybe we can look at something like the Huxley for him as the tight track at Chester would work for him."
