Kool Kompany got his career back on track with a victory at Doncaster recently following a spell in Australia and now goes for Group Two honours in the bet365 Mile at Sandown on Friday.

The five-year-old will aim to give Richard Hannon consecutive wins in this race after Toormore 12 months ago.

David O'Meara, successful with Custom Cut in 2015, tries with Mondialiste this time while Tashweeq returns to action following a 544-day absence for trainer John Gosden.

Ruth Carr's admirable Sovereign Debt throws his hat into the ring just two weeks after taking the all-weather mile final at Lingfield.

Aidan O'Brien sends Cougar Mountain, who was runner-up to Sovereign Debt in Qatar in February, over from Ireland.

A strong 10-runner line-up is made up by Gabrial, Jallota, Mitchum Swagger, Opal Tiara and Dawn Of Hope.

O'Brien's Deauville is among eight horses declared for the bet365 Gordon Richards Stakes in which last year's winner and subsequent Prince Of Wales's Stakes hero My Dream Boat makes his seasonal debut for Clive Cox.

Frankuus, a Group Three victor at Chantilly for Mark Johnston as a juvenile, is among the quintet along with Ralph Beckett's Intern and the David Simcock-trained Fierce Impact, winner of his only start to date.
