Noel Wilson aims to keep Longroom busy after he notched his second win in Scotland inside four days at Ayr.
Having won with consummate ease at Musselburgh on Thursday, the 1-4 favourite escaped a penalty as his previous success came in an apprentice race.
Showing good early pace in the Book Direct At Western House Hotel Handicap, Graham Lee can have barely ridden an easier winner as he coasted to a three-and-a-half-length success.
"He lives outside as he's a buzzy horse," said Wilson.
"He's in a 0-60 at Thirsk on Saturday and all being equal we might be forced to run with a penalty.
"The Musselburgh race was dire and this one was worse!"
Karl Burke believes Havana Grey (4-7 favourite) could hold his own in one of the juvenile races at Royal Ascot after winning the opening maiden by five lengths.
"He's a very smart horse and one we like a lot," said Burke.
"He was a bit unfortunate on debut but he was beaten by a nice one of Richard Fahey's they think a lot of (Simmy's Copshop).
"He's better covered up and has a nice turn of foot. He's from a nice family with a lot of speed in it, we're very pleased with him.
"Six furlongs won't be a question. He's an Ascot horse for sure, if he'd won first time we'd have gone for the National Stakes at Sandown, that might come too quick now but we'll see."
Duncan Of Scotland was a well-named winner for Irish trainer Lee Smyth, ridden by Paul Mulrennan, and he is another who will not be resting on his laurels.
"He'll run tomorrow, he will get a mile, I've no doubt, he'll just be held up a bit more and most likely he'll run over six on Friday at Dundalk," said Smyth on Racing UK..
"We're based in Northern Ireland, a small village called Moira, in County Down, just down the road from Down Royal racecourse.
"We're a small operation, but we've got big dreams."
Jim Goldie had his seemingly obligatory winner when the veteran Johnny Delta (5-2 joint-favourite) won the Bobby's Bar Handicap, with Testa Rossa (10-1) giving Goldie a double in the finale as the seven-year-old provided Rosie Hill with a first winner from her first ride on the Flat.
