Romanised is being given a break following an encouraging effort at Royal Ascot before tackling some of the best two-year-olds later in the season.
The son of Holy Roman Emperor is highly regarded by his trainer Ken Condon, who is looking at races such as the Keeneland Phoenix Stakes at the Curragh, the Futurity Stakes there in August and possibly the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes on September 10.
Romanised may have been out of the money in seventh place at Ascot but was only beaten two and quarter lengths by the winner Rajasinghe after being slowly away.
"He just missed the break and on the day three track records went. Weather conditions meant it was very conducive to horses being on the front end and staying there," said Condon.
"We're very happy with him. He was still a bit raw on his second start and he'd appreciate going an extra furlong.
"He'll get a little break now. He's a horse that's growing on us.
"He could run in the Phoenix Stakes or go the Futurity, National Stakes route. We're not quite sure yet. We think there is plenty more to come from him. All things considered I thought he ran a very good race. He was a little slowly into stride and it was hard to make it up.
"I was very pleased with him and we feel he's a good colt. We think he can handle himself in very good company later in the season and we won't over-race him this year."
