Capla Temptress will continue her racing career in America after claiming top-level honours for the first time in Canada on Sunday.
Following her victory in the Natalma Stakes at Woodbine, plans are in place to transfer the daughter of Lope De Vega from Marco Botti to trainer Bill Mott ahead of an outing in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies' Turf at Del Mar on November 3.
Botti said: "I was delighted with the win and for (owners) Team Valor as they have always been good supporters.
"I thought the jockey (Joel Rosario) gave her a great ride. He got her settled and she showed a good turn of foot.
"I expected to see a little bit more of her turn of foot over a mile and you could see she was ready to want to go a little bit further.
"I heard a few trainers had good fillies in the race so it was quite competitive. The manner in which she did it she probably had a little bit left in hand.
"The plan before the race was to send her there and for her to stay in America if she ran well, or was lucky enough to win.
"She will go to Bill Mott now. The first step has been achieved and it is the Breeders' Cup next.
"There was not much point considering the costs to bring her back and send her out again. If they left the filly in my care there for seven weeks it would not be same as having it with a trainer based there.
"As much as I would love to have a runner at the Breeders' Cup we are trying to do the best for the horse and the owners."
