Rhododendron has been entered in the Lodge Park Stud EBF Park Express Stakes as the Irish Flat turf season starts at Naas on Sunday.

Aidan O'Brien's four-year-old claimed Group One honours in France last season and also finished runner-up in the 1000 Guineas, the Oaks and the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf.

Rhododendron's eight potential rivals in the one-mile Group Three include the Ger Lyons-trained Elegant Pose, who won three of her four starts in 2017.

Dermot Weld could saddle Making Light, while David Loughnane's Star Quality and Wilamina from Martyn Meade's yard are potential challengers from Britain.

The feature event on a seven-race card is the Tote Irish Lincolnshire.

Thirty-one entries are headed by the Fozzy Stack-trained Onenightidreamed, who was eighth in the race last year, and he could be joined by stablemate Angel Island.

O'Brien's only contender is War Secretary, who has not been seen in competitive action since finishing last of 10 runners in the Greenham Stakes at Newbury last April.
