Clemmie has been given the go-ahead to run in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot on Friday.

Aidan O'Brien's Group One-winning filly could not land a telling blow in the Irish 1,000 Guineas, but her trainer is adamant she will strip much fitter with that run in safe-keeping and she is his only contender.

The Coronation Stakes looks an absorbing renewal as three Classic winners have also been declared in a field of 13.

Billesdon Brook was a shock winner of the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket for Richard Hannon, while the Jessica Harrington-trained Alpha Centauri claimed the Irish equivalent.

Unbeaten filly Teppal, trained by David Simcock, was also a narrow winner of the French 1000 Guineas at Longchamp in May.

Runner-up that day was Coeur De Beaute, who attempts to reverse the form for French-based Spaniard Mauricio Delcher-Sanchez.

Threading was a runaway scorer of a Listed race at York in May and takes the plunge for Mark Johnston, while Veracious is an interesting runner on her first start for 252 days.
