David Simcock's I'm A Dreamer will try to put her Royal Ascot disappointment behind her in the Etihad Airways Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket on July 8.
Simcock was surprised when I'm A Dreamer finished behind her stable companion First City when they were third and fifth respectively in the Windsor Forest Stakes.
The Newmarket handler had expected a much better performance from I'm A Dreamer, who had won a Newmarket Group Three in tremendous style on her previous start.
The Newmarket handler gave the four-year-old a thorough check afterwards but nothing came to light.
"I was delighted with First City but very disappointed with I'm A Dreamer," said Simcock.
"First City ran a personal best, but realistically she shouldn't be beating I'm A Dreamer. I'd like to put a line through that.
"She's come out of the race absolutely fine. We checked her over and there was nothing wrong with her. It wasn't her day.
"I imagine for I'm A Dreamer we'll look at the Falmouth now."
