Peter Schiergen reports Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winner Danedream in rude health ahead of the Japan Cup in Tokyo on Sunday.
The German-trained filly pleased connections when put through her paces on Wednesday morning.
"I asked the jockey to drive her a bit strongly in the last 600 metres. We used the dirt course because the turf was a bit too firm, but I'm very satisfied with the condition she is in," Schiergen told www.japanracing.jp.
"She's in the same form as she was for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, so our hopes are high.
"Her strong point is that she responds very well in the last 400m, and can display her strength no matter what kind of race development or course she encounters."
Jockey Andrasch Starke added: "She seems to be in the same good condition as she was before the Arc, so I hope she can maintain it until the day of the race.
"If she does, the results will be the same because the race will be on the same kind of fast track."
