Connections expect York improvement

Jessica Harrington is eagerly anticipating having a crack at next week's Darley Yorkshire Oaks with Bible Belt following an encouraging run at Leopardstown. On her first start since finishing fourth in the Tattersalls Gold Cup in May, the four-year-old finished a close third behind Galileo's Choice in last Thursday's Ballyroan Stakes. Harrington is now ready to pitch the filly into Group One class and is hoping for a sound surface on the Knavesmire. "I was very pleased indeed with her run. She should have been second, she just got stopped on the rail, but it was a good performance," said Harrington. "We wanted to get that run in before going to the Yorkshire Oaks and it's definitely still the plan to go to York with her. "I'd like to think she'll improve a bit for that run the other day and she'll definitely improve if we ever get some better ground. Hopefully we can get some over at York."
