Filly set for big day out

David Simcock is excited about the prospect of I'm A Dreamer returning to America for a crack at the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Santa Anita. The five-year-old won the Grade One Beverly D Stakes at Arlington in August and was a close fourth in the Flower Bowl International at Belmont a month later. She is now set to fly back out to the States for the biggest meeting of them all. "She's come out of Belmont well, she travels very well which is probably her biggest asset," Simcock told At The Races. "Unfortunately they had 36 millimetres of rain on the Friday and she probably got beaten by three horses who appreciated the ground more than she did last time. "They went very quick and then pulled up to a walk which didn't suit her. "She was awkwardly positioned at the back, she got bumped coming off the last bend which stopped her momentum, but it was pleasing to see her stay so well to be beaten a length and she was giving weight away. "It could have been a different result but the actual run was very satisfactory. "We'll have a go at the Filly & Mare at the Breeders' Cup now which is exciting and the one thing you can guarantee is that she won't disgrace herself, she'll run very well. "We'd be confident of her being there or thereabouts."
