The daughter of Teofilio caught the eye when running sixth of 11 to Rosehill Artist on her racecourse debut at Salisbury last September.
However, a lung infection has kept the two-year-old off the track since but Balding is upbeat over her chances of a winning return early in the New Year.
"I will step up her work over the next few weeks and hopefully have her ready for a race at the end of January or the beginning of February," he told Sky Sports News.
"It will be on the all-weather as that is the only thing on offer for her at the moment. We'll probably give her one run then save her for the turf season at the start of April.
"For 2014 I hope she can win at least a couple of races, and hopefully something better than class three."
On Demand is almost back to full fitness and vet Simon Knapp insists her track lay-off has not hindered her development.
"I think she has filled out and has strengthened," he said.
"She is developing as youngsters do, she's getting stronger and has muscled up well. I think she is developing nicely and on course for a racing return."
