Roger Charlton has raised the possibility of Al Kazeem running in a Listed race before possibly taking in the King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes.
A triple Group One winner last summer, he was bought by the Queen to stand at stud but failed to get a high percentage of mares into foal.
Bought back by John Deer, he has returned to training with Charlton and a back-end campaign is in order.
"He goes out third lot every morning and is as good as gold, he never looks at the fillies, he just gets on with the job," Charlton told Channel 4 Racing.
"We need to get some weight off but I'd hope to be looking for a race somewhere for him in July.
"I don't really know where that would be but there are a lot of races in which he wouldn't have to carry a penalty, he could run in a Listed race without a penalty which would be handy before we look at stepping up in class.
"He'll be going places where there are lots of prize money so the King George would be a possibility."
