Frankie Dettori is set to renew his association with Wesley Ward this weekend after the American trainer revealed he will use the Italian during the opening weekend of the season at Saratoga.
The Italian steered the Ward-trained Undrafted to finish fourth in the July Cup at Newmarket and the trainer hopes it will be the start of a good relationship.
He said: "Hopefully Frankie is going to come over for racing on Friday and will ride through until Monday.
"I should have eight or nine horses for him to ride over the weekend, including an unbeaten two-year-old called Bessie's Boy, who is down to run in the Sandford Stakes, which is quite a prestigious race.
"We'll have a few other stakes horses running, so it should be a good weekend."
