Cox set to wait with Kodi Bear

Clive Cox is no rush to nominate the next step for Kodi Bear after the youngster confirmed his promise when opening his account at Ascot on Saturday.
After Kodi Bear's success in the Listed Winkfield Stakes, the Lambourn handler named the Dewhurst Stakes as a possible long-term objective.
In the meantime, the Kodiac colt, who had finished fifth in the Coventry Stakes at the Royal meeting, has plenty of entries, including Doncaster's Champagne Stakes and the Royal Lodge at Newmarket.
"He's eaten up, not a bother. He'd licked his manger by the time I got home from Salisbury on Saturday night," Cox told Racing UK.
"With any good horse you need a sober attitude. He eats and sleeps and has kept on growing, which is great.
"We've going to be patient with him. I'm delighted he's confirmed the ability we hoped he had and we'll give him time to mature a bit more and see how we go."
