Moviesta set for Nunthorpe Stakes at York

Connections of Moviesta can look forward to the Coolmore Nunthorpe Stakes at York with confidence after the sprinter returned to form at Goodwood last week.
Bryan Smart's four-year-old had been in the wilderness somewhat since winning the King George Stakes this time last year.
He suffered an injury in last season's Nunthorpe and while his comeback run in the Palace House at Newmarket was respectable, he found the ground too soft in the Duke of York Stakes and the July Cup.
However, he was only beaten a neck and a short head in defence of his King George title on Friday, with part-owner Ritchie Fiddes hoping for fast ground at the Ebor meeting.
"He ran the same race as last year, basically, but the difference was this time there was a front runner who didn't stop," said Fiddes.
"Last year he came through a group of horses that had gone too fast but Take Cover didn't stop.
"He's never actually run a bad race when he's had his ground, it was soft in the July Cup and he wasn't 100 per cent fit yet he still ran OK.
"He's not got too many miles on the clock and if we look after him he will be around for a few years yet. "All we can hope is that the ground is fast at York, then we'll have no excuses."
