Henry Candy's exciting filly Alonsoa is on course for a hat-trick bid in the German-Thoroughbred.com Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket on Saturday.
The daughter of Raven's Pass looked the part when making a winning debut at Newbury at the end of June and graduated to Listed class with another impressive display in last month's Star Stakes at Sandown.
She will test the water at Group Three level this weekend and Candy is looking forward to seeing how she fares.
"She's in good form and assuming there are no problems over the next few days she's an intended runner," said the trainer.
"The ground was awfully firm on the July Course over the weekend, so I would like to see a drop of rain.
"There is rain forecast, so hopefully that will arrive and I'm sure we'll be fine."
Alonsoa is one of 16 fillies in contention for the seven-furlong Group Three.
The Godolphin team have course and distance winners Efflorescence (Charlie Appleby) and Winters Moon (Saeed bin Suroor) engaged, while Mark Johnston has Glorious Goodwood runner-up Enlace and Muraaqaba as possibles.
Other interesting contenders include David Elsworth's Duchess of Cambridge Stakes heroine Arabian Queen, Kevin Ryan's hat-trick seeker Calypso Beat and Savoy Showgirl from Michael Bell's yard.
