New plans for Lucky Kristale

With conditions sure to be testing, George Margarson has decided not to send Lucky Kristale over for the Prix Maurice de Gheest.
One of last year's leading juvenile fillies, Lucky Kristale has failed to hit the anticipated heights this term, finishing well beaten in both the 1000 Guineas and Coronation Stakes.
Margarson had hoped a drop in trip would resurrect her campaign but the prospect of heavy ground in Deauville has deterred him from running.
"We're not going to send her, it's going to be heavy," said Margarson.
"She must have been working well as Tom (Queally) was going to get down to 8st 8lb to ride her, but there's more rain forecast.
"We don't know that she won't go on it, but her best form is on fast ground so it seems silly to ask her to do it on heavy.
"She scoped clean this morning and we were all ready to go but she won't.
"We'll have a sit down and look at the book now. There are a few options abroad for her, a couple in France, but her main aim now will be Champions Day I think.
"Also, we'd like to take her to America at the end of the year."
