Kingman is one of eight horses still in contention for the Prix Jacques le Marois at Deauville on Sunday.
John Gosden's colt has produced imperious displays in the Irish 2,000 Guineas, the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood to confirm himself Europe's top miler and is set for his French debut.
Richard Hannon has left in Sussex runner-up Toronado and his other crack miler Olympic Glory, with the latter seemingly the most likely runner.
Clive Brittain's top-class filly Rizeena and the Mark Johnston-trained Bow Creek could complete a formidable British raiding party.
Prix Rothschild winner Esoterique, Anodin and Red Dubawi, formerly trained by David Marnane but now with German trainer Erika Mader, are also still in the hat.
