Celebration option for Muteela

Muteela could step back up in trip for the Doom Bar Celebration Mile at Goodwood on August 23.
The Mark Johnston-trained three-year-old was last seen out when losing her unbeaten record by a neck to J Wonder in the Group Three L'Ormarins Queens Plate Stakes over seven furlongs at Goodwood on August 1.
She had previously notched up four consecutive victories, culminating with an all-the-way win in the Listed Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot.
Angus Gold, racing manager to Muteela's owner Hamdan Al Maktoum, said: "The Celebration Mile is one of the races we are looking at for Muteela. All the upcoming Group races over seven furlongs or a mile are options for her.
"I thought it was a very good run at Glorious Goodwood. She stepped up again and was probably beaten by a very good filly. I am told she has come out of it well and is in good form.
"I think she is equally effective at seven furlongs or a mile. With her style of running, I don't think it matters either way."
A total of 23 entries remain in the Group Two, including last year's third, the David Simcock-trained Trade Storm, and Aidan O'Brien's Darwin, who was third to Kingman in the Qipco Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood.
There are two possible raiders from Germany in Chopin and High Duty, who are both trained by Peter Schiergen.
