Master Carpenter will step up to Group One company for the first time in the Qatar Prix Du Moulin at Longchamp on September 14.
The three-year-old missed the Doom Bar Celebration Mile at Goodwood last Saturday as trainer Rod Millman was not totally happy with his condition, although he reports the Mastercraftsman colt to be back in good form now.
He said: "He wasn't right going into Goodwood and the ground would have probably been too quick for him anyway. He's fine now.
"We'll train him for the Group One at Longchamp next month and he'll appreciate the drop back in trip."
Three-year-olds boast a respectable record in the race with Excelebration the latest to have reigned for the Classic generation in 2011, while Goldikova (2008) and Rock Of Gibraltar (2002) also won the historic mile contest at the Paris track.
Millman did saddle improving filly Bonnie Grey for the Group Three Whiteley Clinic Prestige Stakes at Goodwood and was over the moon with her second-placed effort behind the smart Malabar.
He said: "I was delighted with her performance and I'm hoping to find a race at Doncaster for her.
"She bumped into a really special filly in Mick's (Channon) horse and is improving with every run.
"She stayed on great and I'd be hopeful she would get further than seven furlongs in time.
"We're only a small yard but we've got some nice horses to go to war with now and we're all excited."
