Charlie Hills is mulling the next step for Dutch Connection after the smart colt took his latest victory at York in his stride, with a trip to the Curragh on Irish Champions Weekend among his options.
The Lambourn trainer reports the progressive juvenile in tip-top shape after he got up close home to claim the Group Three Acomb Stakes on the Knavesmire.
The Dutch Art colt is entered in several races, including the Goffs Vincent O'Brien National Stakes at the Curragh on September 14.
"The main thing is that I'm thrilled with the way he's come out of the race, he looks really well," said Hills.
"He's in the Champagne (Doncaster on September 13), but I'm not sure he'll go there.
"He's also in the National Stakes, the Lagardere (at Longchamp) and the Dewhurst (at Newmarket).
"The National Stakes is in a couple of weeks, but we'll have a look at the race and see what's going there."
