David Simcock has further big-race ambitions for Trade Storm and Sheikhzayedroad after the talented duo gave the Newmarket trainer a ground-breaking Grade One double in Canada on Sunday.

Sheikhzayedroad has the QIPCO Champion Stakes at Ascot next month and the Canadian International back at Woodbine as possible targets following his victory in the Northern Dancer Turf Stakes.

After winning the Woodbine Mile, Trade Storm could either be aimed at the Breeders' Cup Mile in Santa Anita or head to Australia for Melbourne's Cox Plate.

Simcock said: "The two horses have arrived back happy and well. They'll be given an easy few days during which we will discuss options with their connections.

"Sheikhzayedroad could possibly go to Ascot (Champion Stakes), but only if it came up very soft, or probably back to Canada for the International.
