Trainer David Pipe says Kings Palace will bounce back after Cheltenham defeat

Kings Palace: Impressive again at Cheltenham

Kings Palace could be seen at either Aintree or Punchestown after he met with his first defeat over fences in the RSA Chase last week.

David Pipe's charge had been ultra impressive in the lead up to Cheltenham but whereas he fell when beaten in the Albert Bartlett last season, this year he faded in the final half-mile.

Pipe feels he is better than he showed there and is keen for him to run again.

"While Don Poli was an extremely worthy winner, Kings Palace is clearly better than he was able to show on the day," said Pipe on his website.

"There will certainly be other days for him - he remains a top-class chaser in the making and we will have a look through the programme book and see what options are open to him.
